Hello everyone, how are you doing today? This is going to be Week 26, Edition 03 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last week Saturday we had the last hangout that was just so much fun we did not want it to come to an end. We are currently on our third topic for the week which is, "THAT ONE THING”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic which was “VOLUNTEERING”. This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us if they have ever had the opportunity to volunteer before and if they had what they actually did.
We got to learn about the different ways people try to help their fellow man, working hard to make sure that they can put a smile on the face of other people, by making little sacrifices here and there.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w26e2 tags. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors will be listed below:

HELPING PEOPLE THROUGH VOLUNTEERING by @deimage
This author told us that he had never been opportune to volunteer before, but it was something he was hoping to take part in soon. He hopes that one day he would be able to donate his blood to save a person’s life. That would most likely go a long way in helping people out.
This author told us that he loves being a volunteer and he has been doing it for quite a while now. He started during his NYSC days when he assisted in teaching the young ones, organizing seminars for business-oriented people, and giving sensitization to other groups. Currently, four times a year he volunteers with others to reach out to rural communities, providing them with bibles, clothes, food, and the like. It was a beautiful read, indeed.
VOLUNTARY WORK REWARDS THE HIGHEST by @emreal
*This author told us about how he volunteers in his church as an usher, and how that made him cross paths with someone that gave him a job. He also told us about community service he was involved in where they cleaned the area and repaired spoilt things, making the community cleaner and safer for everyone. It was a delightful read, indeed.”
