Hello everyone, how are you doing today? This is going to be Week 37, Edition 01 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last week Saturday we had the last hangout that was just so much fun we did not want it to come to an end. We are currently on our first topic for this week which is, “TALENT OR HARD WORK”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “BOREDOM”. This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the one time they experienced severe boredom and how they were able to overcome it.
We got to learn about the different types of boredom, and the different ways by which people can get rid of it to be able to be more creative.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w36e3 tags. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. This author told us about how boredom caused her to make a big mistake that chased good people out of her life. It had an effect on her mental health as well. And since then, she has learned to counter boredom by doing healthy activities that will help her relax and find comfort in herself.
I ONLY EXPERIENCE BOREDOM WHEN… by @kushyzee
This author has different ways of battling boredom when it hits him. From trying to fix damaged appliances around the house to learning an entirely new skill. It shows that while boredom will always come at one time or the other in our lives, as long as we are intentional about it, we would always get through it.
MY FUNNY EXPERIENCE WITH BOREDOM by @justfavour
*For this author, his severe case of boredom came during the Corona Virus pandemic of 2020. When the boredom got so bad, he figured he could use the free time to get creative. But then, it was the wrong kind of creativity. He was never able to fully escape the boredom until the lockdown of that era was finally lifted.
