Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This is going to be Week 55, Edition 02 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last week Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to come to an end. We are currently on our second topic for this week which is, “EXPERIENCE OR TEXTBOOK”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “BABIES”. This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the time they saw a baby take its first steps. It could be their baby, that of a friend, or the baby of a close relation. Either way, it was a special moment and they found it worth sharing with us.
We got to see the different ways babies take their first steps, how it all leads up to that moment, and how it goes on from there. It’s an interesting topic indeed, one that everyone can totally relate to.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w55e1 tags. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors will be listed below:

This author told us about the stages that led to her daughter’s first steps. From crawling to standing on her own and eventually walking. It was an emotional journey and was a reason for celebration. This stage of childhood is really beautiful, and experiencing firsthand makes it all the more memorable.
HAPPY MOMENT: KIDS TRYING TO WALK FOR THE FIRST TIME by @rosecane
This author also shared with us his beautiful stories. He told us about how his nieces and nephews got their first steps and his own baby. He admits that this was one of the most memorable moments of his life.
GROWING WITH LITTLE ONES: ADVENTURES IN BABYSITTING AND LEARNING by @bhattg
For this author, he told us about his niece and when she took her first steps. He talked about the worry they go through when the baby takes their first step, the fear of them falling and hurting themselves so they are always on guard. But then, it’s all part oof the process which makes it even more memorable.
