So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to come to an end. We are currently on our third topic for this week which is, “MARRIAGE”.

But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “THE ACCUSED”.

This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the time they were falsely accused of doing something and they were unable to clear their names.

We got to see just how easy it could be to be falsely accused and the dire consequences that could follow as a result. Many people lost jobs because of things like these, and some lost even worst. It was indeed an enlightening topic.

For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w64e3 tags. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors will be listed below:

BEFORE ACCUSING THEM, TRY FINDING THE REASON by @amberkashif

This author was accused of something she had no intention of at all. All she wanted was to rest because of her nauseous feeling, but this was misinterpreted and taken that she was only doing it to get soft drinks. It ended up causing her to be even more sick. Another reminder to why it’s always best to take our time to study every situation before pointing accusing fingers.

ACCUSED OF EXAMINATION MALPRACTICES by @lightpen

For this author, he was accused of examination malpractice when he was seating his SSCE, the most important exam for any High Schooler in West Africa. Such an accusation could have dire consequences, and it could have ruined the entire exam for him but for the in-depth investigation that came to his rescue.

I WAS WRONGFULLY ACCUSED, BUT AT LONG LAST, CCTV CAMERA CAME TO MY AID @nkemakonam89

This author told us about how she was accused of stealing, and it almost worked to the point of her losing her job because nothing she said was believed. However, with the help of CCTV cameras, she was able to catch the real thief in action and she was vindicated..
