So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to come to an end. We are currently on our third topic for this week which is, “EFFORTS AND RESULTS”.

But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “IMPROMPTU TESTS”. This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the time they had to sit an impromptu test with no form of preparation at all, and then how the test turned out for them.

We got to the different ways impromptu tests have affected many of us, the lessons they taught us, and how it has helped shape a lot of us. It was an enlightening topic indeed.

For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w67e2 tags. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. UNFORGETTABLE TALES: SURVIVING UNEXPECTED TESTS IN SCHOOL by @idksamad78699

This author told us about the impromptu maths test given by his teacher back in seven grade. With no time to prepare or anything, everyone had to take the tests. It would have gone bad for the author if not for the intervention of his friend. He then realized that just because one never knew when the tests would come didn’t mean he should never be prepared for it. It helped shaped his view on life as a whole.

IMPROMPTU TEST; MY EXPERIENCE AND LESSON LEARNED by @lightpen

For this author, he told us about how a lecturer during his undergraduate days set an impromptu test that affected his overall result in a way he didn't like. The lecturer is not a prime example of who a good lecturer should be, he’s not even in the ballpark and the students have to suffer for this. Quite sad.

IMPROMPTU TEST THAT ALMOST JEOPARDIZES MY EMPLOYMENT @vickoly

This author also told us about his dream job and how he could have lost it if he had not been adequately prepared for it. It was an experience that taught him to always get to things in the nick of time and never overlook anything at all, no matter how little. This has helped him to restructure his life in a way he saw fit.
