So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on our first topic for this week which is “JUST ONE THING”.

But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “FAVORITE HOLIDAY SONGS”. This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling about the songs they loved to listen to the most during the holidays. It was the songs that set them in the festive spirit and made them feel the joys of the season all the more.

We got to see the different kinds of songs that members enjoyed. All of them had to do with the season, and they were all great. It was no wonder people enjoyed them so much. It was an interesting topic indeed.

For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w93e3 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. I LOVE THE SONG, “MARY DID YOU KNOW?” AND PENTATONIX AS A WHOLE by @iskawrites

This author shared with us her favorite song for the holidays and it was “Mary Did You Know?” by Pentatonix. As a matter of fact, she loved everything the acapella group releases because most of their songs are Christmas-themed and pass a lot of messages. Listening to the songs sends her into deep reflection and it’s not difficult to see why.

This author told us that his favorite song was “Christmas List” by Anson Seabra. It’s a thought-provoking song that really pulls at the heartstrings. And then, it’s good enough that it can be played during any season at all, not just Christmas. Which makes it a really versatile song, indeed.

ALSO, THE SEASON OF HOPE @saydie

This author told us that his favorite holiday song is “Christmas Lights” by Coldplay. It’s a song of hope and belief, one that tells everyone that no matter how dark and desolate things and situations might be, there will always be a reason to have hope. And in this season especially, we must endeavor to always have hope!
