This is a new month, the month of September and it quite happens that the first week of September seemed not to have so many days as like the other months of the year and because of this, we were quick to start another cohort of the Hive BootCamp for this month September.
This time, we were able to get more people to the training compared to last month and now, we have about 28 people who joined the program, as usual, it is always people who come in but they end up not following up. During the course of the program, we would get to know those sets of people who are just ghosts in the program and then remove them from the group.
Two days ago was our first meetup, which we discussed exactly what I said in this post here. This post served as an introduction to Hive, and them knowing what is it and how it differs from other social media.
For the meeting, there was a total of 16 to 18 people online including @monioluwa, @olujay and me. So that makes it about 13-15 people that made it to the live meeting. The live meeting is not compulsory to attend but answering the test quiz is compulsory.
If anyone misses the live class, they can simply go back to watch the recorded videos we have last month to understand what was explained and also have sufficient knowledge to take the Quiz.
Talking about the Quiz questions, all the answers to the question are in the videos we made and we try to discuss every question because we let them take the quiz.
I totally hope the best for this guys are we are still putting so much energy to lecture these people to understand the basic knowledge of Hive, what to do and what not to do , the importance of engagement and so many things before they come up here. We are doing all these because we know how much these information are and would be difficult if we create an account for them first and later be telling each one of them all these at different times. It is quite a lot of stress.

Awesome! it's so good that the Class is starting early and you guys are having more students than the last time, I just hope that this time you guys will be able to have students that follow instructions. It's not really easy going through all these stress and not getting a good result.
I will love to advise you guys stress more on the importance of being obedient because as we all might know that the best way for anyone to make progress is to always follow instructions given.
I'm very sure that at the end of this month's boot camp, there will be a great record of success, all the best to our future upcoming Hivians 😊.
The Bootcamp is only for a week 😅😂. We are teaching them everything within one week.

Yeah, they can take it. It's 6 test quiz with a deadline of 48hrs for each quiz.
Okay that's fine, it will help them to be more efficient, I wish them all the best.

Wow... Another phase of training for these sets of people. It's always good to set some standard for a training like this as it will guide the trainees on what's expected of them. Hopefully, they should be consistent in learning either through the live meeting or through the recorded video and more importantly attend the test quiz.

Lots of plaudits and accolades should be showered on this initiative. The boot camp indeed will enable serious newcomers on Hive to get acclimatized to the basic nitty gritty of what a decentralized crypto blockchain platform such as Hive entails.
yeah this is definitely the purpose... With hope, these guys would do pretty well when they come onboard to Hive.

Great work guys. One small suggestion, while making posts like these, please add another section that introduces Hive Bootcamp in 2-3 lines. Also mention how people can apply. Add it to every BootCamp post!
Moreover, make pre-recorded videos, upload them to a simple website and then have live Q&A for 15-20 minutes to address questions from everyone. That will save your time and you can scale this to 10x from there. Try to automate as much as you can.

Yeah, for pre-recorded videos, we have them already. They are the ones we made last month. We send it to the new guys and they join in with us in the live session where they can ask questions.
For the sake of people that did not have time to go over the pre-recorded videos, we always go over the video content in every meeting and answer their questions.. what do you think about this? @finguru
About a website for the BootCamp? 🤔🤔🤔🤔. We have thought of that really but trying to take things slow.
