Life is a great teacher, all the events that occurs in life help us to learn something different. Life always throws us in a situation where either we want to pass on the learning to others. My father was a true example where he always wanted to share the good experince to others. Whereas, he never worried to share the bad experince. He never wanted others to feel the pain that he suffered. I think, I have similar kind of nature, but sometime I get bit hard on others who did give me pain.
One of my relative took some money from me for business purposes. The relative is very close to me, so I never hesitated in giving the amount. I have full trust on him. But money can bring out the true aspect of every individual, and so does of my relative. He never bothered to repay it to me. Instead of arguing over the amount, I kept mum, I was in pain as i did not expected such treatment from him. It was not about the amount but the broken trust. It was like a stabbing at my back. I remain silent and never indulge my force way. After few years, I took some amount from him to return it on next day. It was an urgent need and I didn't thought about our past wrong deal. But later when he asked me to refund the amount I reminded him of the previous loan he had taken. To which he simply walked away without saying a word. I know I gave him the same pain to him, as I had experienced before.
Life is beautiful thing and we should make the most of it by making good memories. Good things always results in happiness and bad thing reduces the happiness. To make true beautiful world we should work in such a way that we keep sharing good things and leaving the pain and sorrow of life. The moment we start sharing the pain to others it make the relation bitter and so does all the fond memories.
In good faith - Peace!!
I think that's part of the reason that a lot of people try to avoid making transactions like that with family. It's too bad really because you should be able to count on your family for stuff like that, but more often than not it comes back to bite you.
the worst being the inheritance
Money is the devil's weapon, at least I've been told that a thousand times, while family and friends live simply, as long as I have a bed and food, money is just a tool
Money is a true revealer in most cases, the way you handled the matter is really funny. But am thinking that the person in this story somehow forgot the transaction that occured. O do wish you well
