Cycle Of Poison On Earth: Emergency That Is Out Of Control!

Today I was watching a podcast in YouTube from a Bangladeshi podcast channel. The topic of the discussion was about the importance of the natural agriculture instead of the modern poisonous agriculture to have greater yield. In higher yield, farmers can get larger crops, fruits but the quality and nutritious value severely lower than tha naturally grown crops or fruits. The guest is a prominent influencer and he run a farm based on 100% naturally grown agricultural products from staple foods like rice, wheat, and all kinds of vegetables and fruits without any chemical insecticides and fertilizers. He has shared a lot of statistics that can make you think about the devastating side effects that you are already facing in real life. Many of them are based on Bangladeshi research, but similar results are seen in other parts of the world in most of the scenarios. I summarizing the main statistics that will shock you after you realize them.

  • The soil in Bangladesh lacks in 72% of the nutrients that we need in our everyday life. When we are taking foods that are grown on that land, is naturally lack 72% nutrients. So, when we consume them, we need more to fill the gap, leading to overconsuming but no energy. Also, everyone is getting fat due to overeating of these nutrient-free foods. The same scenarios are everywhere.

  • One research in our country shows that 64 of the cancer patients from 100 patients are from the farmers who are heavily involved in spraying insecticides most of the time as his agricultural works. That is really alarming situation which is the same like the effect of the nuclear radiation. But we often ignore them or treat like such importance.

  • In Bangladesh, every hour 4,000 Kg of poisons are being used to kill insecticides and grasses, and weeds. Can you imagine that means, people are consuming a solid portion of this large amount with their everyday foods. Besides, people use many chemicals with fruits, fishes, vegetables in the marketing period and sales periods to keep them fresh for longer time.

  • Besides, we also use so many cosmetics, makeups and skin care products that contain too much chemical reagents that are like poisons for human being. Also, in the restaurants, cooking includes some seasonings and sauces that involves in chemical ingredients. Now calculate how much poison we are dealing with in our everyday life. A research, in Bangladesh shows 250 new born baies from 1000 babies are getting some abnormality in their health due to such situation. Many of these abnormality are not clearly visible in the early days but later they are seen in them.

  • Another interesting fact that I learned that the toxic compound used by USA in the Vietnam War to destroy the forest where the Vietnamese were hiding are being used in the agricultural land of Bangladesh which is really so harmful for the whole environment.

  • The whole agricultural system is in such bad situation from this poisonous chemicals that are abruptly used in lands that make the soil empty of of natural nutrients as these chemical poisons are killing the microorganisms of the soil which provide the nutrients to the soil naturally. So the soil started becomes soley dependednt on these chemical fertilizers nad making the soil more poisonous as the ration of the natural ingredients is not maintained and many nutrients are not found from these limited chemical reagents.

So, finally I come to realize why the world is becoming so poisonous and we are becoming fooled with the international chains that produce these poisons and fertilizers. I will also write the 2nd half about how the whole agricultural system is trapped with the seed business, health business, and the poison businesses as a compact business models. What is your thought about this issues as the farmers want more production with these chemicals but natural system provide less yield? There must be some gap about this knowledge that I will discuss in next blog. If you have any queries or thoughts, let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them.

Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.

Wish you a great day!

Dear @tanzil2024 !
Hassan!
I remember that pesticides and chemical fertilizers are harmful to the ecosystem and living organisms. Do you know a solution to this problem?

I am not an expert, but I learn from the guest expert that everything we have to make them grow naturally. Initially, it will be difficult, but later it will be okay, and genetically modified and hybrid species should be removed from agriculture. Actually, everything we are getting now is full of water and no essential nutrients, but primitive species are smaller but food values are always multiple times higher. So, everything is not comparable with weight or yield only.
