A Trip That Provided A Lot of Walking Opportunities

Oh, Those Good Old Days And Wonderful Memories. I said the good old days, but that wasn’t as old as it feels like during this pandemic era. This happened during the end of 2019, the summer holidays in the last week of December, only less than 20 months and 20 days ago to be precise.

A trip I have done a few times over the years,so this post brought back wonderful memories glad you had a wonderful trip, That said I have never tried skydiving that must have been such a blast

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :), I truly enjoy exploring the world virtually each Wednesday seeing walks from all around the globe and feeling I am there and experiencing it all myself, such as I did in your post just now :)

I was more than sure you often did such trips. After all, this is your native place and you're a travel lover :) I wanted to do this post for a long time but last month was different as it was for @dreemport
Thanks a lot

Most welcome, I do miss my yearly trip[s back to NZ, but i just cannot fly that far these days

Have a great day

Same here bro, I arrived here for my OC trip after two years but got stuck here. Hopefully, things will be back to normal soon. Have a nice time.

My Problem is more than COVID I last travelled back to NZ maybe 10 or more years ago, in my travels I got TB in 2007, and it did a lot of damage to my lungs, got it treated and all good other than whenever I travel in a plane for a few hours I seem to get an infection or Pneumonia and end up sick for a week or so, took the fun out of travelling

So sorry to hear that. In that case, traveling long distances is certainly a problem for you. I wish you the best and an apt solution for your problem.

Next year when hopefully things are back to normal, we may do some long weekend road trips here :)

Wow it looks like you had a truly sensational holiday there!

So are there any countries that you haven't been to @sunnyag ??? 😂

Only 16 so far :) I wanted to visit 3-4 more in the current year but heck with the travel ban, I can't go anywhere.

Oh that's so slack @sunnyag, only 16 countries, you poor thing... 🤣😂😅

Well that's about 12 more than me and 16 more than so many other people so I am SOOOO JEALOOUS!

No wonder you've got awesome photos coming out of your....ears...🤣😂😅

What a fantastic trip! The scenery is gorgeous and reminded me a lot of the highlands of Scotland, The Lake District in England, and the ski areas of Austria. Truly stunning but then New Zealand is known for its incredibly breathtaking beauty. I have never visited NZ but would love to do so one day as we have friends there. Perhaps we will have to build it into an Oz/NZ trip when we visit my husband's family again? Now, how do I convince him hee hee. Thank you for sharing @sunnyag. Great Wednesday walk material :-) I cam to your post via @dreemport

You are welcome to OZ @samsmith1971 and I sincerely hope that things will improve and we shall be able to travel freely as we did before.

Hive Power Up Month - Feedback from Day 12

I love this life, but no thanks to corona. We are now confine to the four walls of our houses.

This is quite an adventure. Just the kind I will love to embark.

@dreemport brought me Here.

Let's hope for the best!

You have taken some awesome photos of absolutely breathtaking scenery.

Reading through your post I can well see why you call it "one of your most exciting road trips".

Thank you for sharing this with us.

I got to this post through @dreemport

Thank you, yes one of our most exciting, but then every trip we do, I feel the same :)

Unfortunately, borders are closed everywhere, including my present location in NCR close to New Delhi, Canberra, ACT, and New Zealand, so going anywhere is not possible for the time being.

So we share the same places and facing the same problems! Let's hope for the best!

my goodness - this is beautiful!

i loved that airbnb!!!! it was so unique! My friend (that I was to visit) lives in Picton. I really am so sad that our trip was cancelled.. I was so looking forward to it!!!

but I have to say that though I didn't feel like i WENT here... i did enjoy the post! and that green garden maze is gorgeous!

and hey - i love that your wife is little... i am little too! hahahahaha

That New Zealander was 7' and my wife is 5.7 Even I looked little by full one foot :) Sorry to disappoint you for not taking you to NZ :(

hahahahahaha no disappointment! soon the world will be back open and then we will be able to travel all over again! LOL

and oh - your wife is not little! hahahahaa
I AM LITTLE.
she is tall hehehehe

and that man - he is taller than even my husband! LOLOLOL

Stop comparing yourself. 5'2 is not little but if you walk with someone standing 6'8, you feel that way!
