Hoy les cuento que Chile está cerca de sus fiestas patria, lo cual me ha llevado a investigar mucho más sobre sus tradiciones y para seguir con la línea de representación religiosa, el proyecto de hoy es para pintar a la Virgen del Carmen, patrona de Chile, con líneas simples. Entonces, vamos por los materiales: lápiz, borrador, lienzo, pinturas, pinceles, agua, tela para limpiar.

Hello HIVERS, thanks for your receptivity. I tell you that Chile is close to its national holidays, that’s why I’ve researched more about its traditions and to continue with religious representation. Today's project is to paint the Virgin of Carmen, patron saint of Chile, with simple lines. So, let's get the materials: pencil, eraser, canvas, paints, brushes, water, cloth to clean.

Antes de empezar te recomiendo adoptar una postura cómoda y derecha cuidando tu espalda. Toma el lápiz y vamos a dibujar nuestra figura con formas simples como círculos, triángulos. Yo empecé por la figura más grande, luego le di agregue los detalles como las manos, el niño Jesús, las coronas y manos, fijate que los trazos son simples.

Before starting I recommend you to adopt a comfortable and straight posture taking care of your back. Take the pencil and let's draw our figure with simple shapes like circles, triangles. I started with the biggest figure, then I added the details like the hands, baby Jesus, the crowns and hands, notice that the strokes are simple.

Para colorear, usé pintura acrílica y de tela, con pinceles de punta delgada y otros más cuadrados, uno para rellenar y definir líneas, cuidar detalles. Empieza a pintar de adentro hacia afuera y formas más pequeñas, al menos a mi me resulta porque ensucio menos el lienzo. Lo que te funcione mejor, la creatividad es libre y el arte se trata de expresión personal.

To color, I used acrylic, with thin tipped brushes and other more square ones, one to fill and define lines, take care of details. Start painting from the inside out and smaller shapes, at least for me it works because it is less dirty. Whatever works for you, creativity is free and art is about personal expression.
