El mes de Mayo es conocido en mi país como el mes de las flores, no soy católica pero para los que los son es común recoger flores para venerar a la virgen María la cual es coronada en ese mes, yo por mi parte solo disfruto del florecer de las plantas de jardín de mi mamá, por eso hice un dibujo con unas niñas sentadas en grama con coronas de flores. Para iniciar hice el boceto con lápiz grafito HB sobre la cartulina y pinté el fondo con mezcla de tinta amarilla y cian diluyendo con agua el pincel.
The month of May is known in my country as the month of flowers, I am not Catholic but for those who are it is common to pick flowers to venerate the Virgin Mary, who is crowned in that month, I for my part only enjoy the flourish from my mother's garden plants, that's why I made a drawing with some girls sitting on grass with flower crowns. To start, I made the sketch with HB graphite pencil on the cardboard and painted the background with a mixture of yellow and cyan ink, diluting the brush with water.
Con mezcla de tinta amarilla y solo una pizca de magenta pinté la piel del rostro, los brazos y las piernas.
With a mixture of yellow ink and just a dash of magenta, I painted the skin of the face, arms and legs.
Con mezcla de amarillo y magenta obtuve naranja que maticé con una pizca de cian para pintar el cabello de las niñas, dejando los brillos en blanco.
With a mixture of yellow and magenta I got orange that I tinted with a pinch of cyan to paint the girls' hair, leaving the highlights white.
Con tinta cian y agua pinté la tela sobre la que están sentadas las niñas.
With cyan ink and water I painted the cloth on which the girls are sitting.
Con magenta una pizca de cian y el pincel con mucha agua pinté el vestido de la niña de la derecha, respetando las luces y sombras de los pliegues de la tela.
With magenta a pinch of cyan and the brush with a lot of water I painted the dress of the girl on the right, respecting the lights and shadows of the folds of the fabric.
Con mezcla de amarillo y un poco de magenta pinté el otro vestido siguiendo el mismo procedimiento con los tonos. Además pinté el único zapato visible con tinta negra y agua.
With a mixture of yellow and a little magenta I painted the other dress following the same procedure with the tones. Also I painted the only visible shoe with black ink and water.
Pinté unas flores con amarillo y otras con magenta de manera intercalada. Con mezcla de amarillo y magenta obtuve un naranja que apliqué en el nombre del mes, las iníciales de los días y los números.
I painted some flowers with yellow and others with magenta interspersed. With a mixture of yellow and magenta I obtained an orange that I applied in the name of the month, the initials of the days and the numbers.
Con un lápiz de color durazno detalle la piel. Con un bolígrafo negro hice el delineado y detalles de todo el dibujo.
With a peach colored pencil I detail the skin. With a black pen I made the outline and details of the entire drawing.
