All the Christmas shenanigans 🎄

in Life Stories4 months ago (edited)

I had spent really great quality time with family during this school holiday as well as having awesome time for Christmas. So much so that I did not have time to pen down all the stuffs here. Was looking into my album photos and so many photos and stories to share. Perhaps, let me start with some Christmas stuffs.

Mini Christmas Tree

This year, we decided to put some Christmas decoration for our church first floor, the place we used for children and mothers during the church service, because they will not sit still at the main hall. First floor is a better place for running around, lol. I was in charge and I bought few stuffs: mini Christmas tree, mini felt Christmas tree and some banners.

The mini Christmas tree really look so mini and cute. It came with a set of ornaments suggested at the online page at the 'add-on', so I just added in all.

My youngest son really loved this mini version of tree. Look at how mini it was!

After setting up, it looked cute and nice. Not bad at all to put at one of the long tables at our first floor church.

As for the felt Christmas tree, it was also a mini version compared with the 'mother version' I had at home, mine. See!!!

Love all the side 'ornaments' for this felt tree. And the children exclaimed, "Why poop for the tree? Why???"

Christmas Tree at church hall

This year, the church also decided to invest in a good grand Christmas tree. We had been using the old one for years, time for a new one. Therefore, we had two Christmas tree at church hall thus year, the old one stood at entrance, the new grand one stood at the centre of the stage. Yay! This time, we involved the children to help out too.

Miss J was the main person-in-charge. It was our privilege to follow her along when she bought the new tree. She even decorated a model tree to sort of count and gauge how many ornaments needed. Wow!

Here were all the ornaments!! So beautifully crafted and chosen!

On the day of setting up the tree, everyone worked so well as a team, threw adults and 5 children. They were so cooperative and we got the job done in a day, just a couple of hours for two Christmas trees.

Some photos with the tree!

We had a great Christmas Eve celebration at church, nothing fancy but super meaningful one to remember the coming of Jesus to earth as a baby, to set forth what was to come that was to be crucified on the cross for the washing of our sins, a worthy sacrifice for us all. We had church lunch together, a small very-knitted together family church. Let us remember that Joy is our portion because when we receive Christ, we receive His joy, peace and hope!

Supee love this meaningful Star-Wreath ornament on the grand tree. JOY!

It's been a dream for me to have a christmas tree,I wish I could have that someday. 🥰
You really had a great time with your family. Happy New Year, and God bless you all.

If it is mini, at home my wife has one that comes with the lights built in, they are very versatile if you don't have a lot of space or time to buy so many ornaments, with a few it is ready and they look great. I hadn't noticed the poop on the felt tree very funny 😂

I love your Christmas tree
