Sakamichi no Apollon, o Kids on the slope, en su traducción al inglés, porque sí, se hizo la adaptación licenciada al inglés para su distribución en España, Francia y Taiwán, tiene su inicio en 2007, como un manga que fue un tanto censurado en Japón debido a los “tintes políticos” que llegan a aparecer en la trama (aunque esto no es casi nada importante para la trama si me lo preguntan （──）), pero que a pesar de ello, fue muy querido por los fans hasta su finalización, manga que terminó su publicación en 2012, y, para conmemorar su término, se adaptó un anime que se estrenó en 2012 (otro buen año para el anime para su desgracia ┐（──）┌), anime que finalizó con solo 12 capítulos, siendo adaptado a una película live action en 2018 emitida solo en Japón.

Primero que nada, solo voy a involucrarme en la cuestión del anime, ni en la película ni en el manga, ya que creo que le pasó un tanto como a Horimiya (si no sabes de que hablo visita nuestra reseña en http://melochacalie.com/horimiya-pero-que-tenemos-aqui/ ), ya que es de esos animes de los que no esperaba nada, y aun así logró ponerme un buen golpe en la cara desde su segundo capítulo, rompiendo mi zona de confort de forma muy agradable y te voy a explicar por qué.

Problemas amorosos, música, valor para elegir un camino propio, errores de la juventud, superación, pero sobre todo la amistad, pérdida, eso y más en Sakamichi no apollon, una historia ambientada a mediados de los 60 en Japón, ya sabes esa época en la que las corrientes políticas se encontraban agitadas y todo era caos, pero esto no es de lo que trata esta serie, esta serie trae consigo el cómo los 3 jóvenes protagonistas de la época vivieron la transición entre el Jazz y “The Beatles”, contándonos las historias a través de los ojos de Bon, un chico abandonado por su madre, hijo de una casa acomodada que vive con su tía dado los constantes viajes de su padre, Ritsuko, la hija de un hombre de clase media que tiene una tienda de discos de vinilo, y Sentarou, un chico de familia pobre repudiado cuando niño por su padre, la vida estos tres se entrelaza por medio del jazz, que les ofrece un hogar dadas las direcciones hacia donde los arrastraron los tiempos, las creencias y sus respectivos entornos, y, aunque no es fácil empatizar con los personajes dado a que son inestables, la forma en la que te cuentan sus días en su tiempo de estudiantes es abrumadoramente entretenida y fluida, un gran planteamiento si me lo preguntan.

Ahora, su animación, por la ambientación no es que sea descuidada, pero si mucho menos detallada en donde debe serlo, tiene este énfasis en los detalles en los ojos de los personajes, que lo hacen muy bonito y no tan convencional, algo que estudios MAPPA ha aplicado en la mayoría de sus animaciones, este estilo detallado imperfecto que lo caracteriza le da mucha fuerza a la animación y resalta mucho su historia, no es una belleza, pero es maravilloso cómo te transporta a la época, un muy buen trabajo si me lo preguntan.

En cuestión de banda sonora, como ya dije antes, esto se trata del jazz que une a los 3 amigos, es una banda sonora que está muy bien elegida, el uso de los instrumentos es muy exacto acorde a la historia, ayuda mucho a la inmersión aún si no conoces mucho del género, a ver, el jazz es un género difícil, pero aquí en verdad contó con temas distintivos y agradables, digo, no soy mucho de jazz, pero si puedo decir que mis temas favoritos fueron “But not for me” y “Lullaby for Birdland”, una banda sonora muy llamativa y digna.

Si hay algo que deja un tanto que desear, es esta parte del peso de la historia, no sé si me explico, creo que al concentrar tanto contenido crudo dentro de tan pocos capítulos, la historia es tan seria, que la carencia de comedia un poco más obvia es bastante notorio, a ver, no es que esté mal, es una historia seria al fin y al cabo y está bien planteada, la cuestión es que en algunos momentos puede ser difícil continuarla para ciertos públicos, si bien, rompe esta barrera con su flujo y su planteamiento, un poco más de comedia no le habría sentado mal, otra parte a tener en consideración, es que hay cosas que se quedaron sin contar, detalles que habrían ayudado a profundizar, por lo que si quieres saber más a detalle, estás obligado a leer el manga para aclarar estas dudas, o al menos a mi pasó, fuera de esos detalles, creo que es una gran historia que no alcanzó el pico del reconocimiento que merecía dado a su mala sincronización con series más vistosas y llamativas que igual aparecieron en 2012, una pena, ya que, desde su inicio hasta su final, es preciosa.

Sakamichi no Apollon, es un anime lento pero emotivo con momentos memorables y perlas de sabiduría como lo suelen tener este tipo de animes, a mi parecer, la manera en la que te la cuentan, tiene este algo que les falta a muchos animes de historias de la vida, si bien, no es tragedia pura y dura, es una historia seria en escala de grises, sinceramente una obra maravillosa.
Sakamichi no Apollon, is a slow but emotional anime with memorable moments and pearls of wisdom as this type of anime usually has, in my opinion, the way they tell it to you, has this something that many story animes lack of life, although it is not a pure tragedy, it is a serious story in grayscale, honestly a wonderful work.
