As we all know 25th December is the day set aside by Christians to celebrate the birth of Christ.
Worldwide it is called Christmas or Xmas.
You will agree with me that many people are celebrating this day without the prior knowledge of what it is. they think it's all about the drinking, eating, killing of fowl, chickens,goat,cattle etc. Of course it is not bad but do you know why it is being celebrated and why it's very important to Christians??

According to Luke chapter 19:10
"For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost"
Christ is born I.e he has been born into this sinful world not only to seek but also to save those that is lost. By lost I don't mean being lost in thoughts or being lost in the bush or forest I mean being lost in Jesus, being lost in sins and problems of this world.
I don't know who need to hear this but you have to allow the purpose of jesus birth to take part significantly in your life.
Are you going through many circumstances in life like financial problems, childlessness, looking for a life partner, looking for a job and you have given up already thinking all hope is gone.Goodnews because the saviour has come to save you and all you need to do is to open your arms widely and receive him into your heart and he will save you.
To save Us All. Yes!! That is the purpose of Jesus birth.
