What's the buzz?
The last time I wrote in the @freewriters community, I was talking about a phantom buzzing sensation where I usually keep my phone. I am going to talk a little bit more about that specific symptom that I have felt over the last few years. In addition to that, I will present other symptoms that occur and when they tend to occur.

The locations chart.
First of all, Happy Tuesday to you all.
Here is a chart where I have marked some of the recent locations where I have felt this sensation. The one in blue marks the place where I had felt it while awake, thinking it was my phone giving me a silent notification. As I said, those were false.

These other parts of the body have done the same thing. It feels like a phone vibrating for 2 to 5 seconds, then there is nothing for 10 to 20 seconds, then the vibration returns. That can go on for an hour or so. Most times, it will start when I lay down to go to sleep. Below is a list of the states of mental relaxation. I will refer to these states as I tell you more about the difficulty that I am noticing.
These are the awake/sleep states.
Beta State — Active waking state
Alpha State — Relaxed wakefulness
Theta State — Deep relaxation state
Delta State — Deep sleep state
Many of the episodes that I have noticed, not only a buzzing or vibration, happen when I am in the Alpha or Theta state. It can be really annoying to lay down and right before you fall asleep, something starts vibrating. The sensation is not able to be felt from the outside. I have asked family to put a hand on the spot and they do not feel it.
When I am about to fall asleep, I try to ignore it but the strength of the vibrations is much stronger when I am fully relaxed. I have tried applying pressure to the area when it occurs and if I apply enough pressure, it cannot be felt. If I had to guess, the cause is at least a quarter of an inch deep, inside the arm or leg.
It is impossible to fall asleep while something under the skin is vibrating! It is also nearly impossible to fall asleep when it keeps starting and stopping. My first guess is that I might have some sort of parasite. I have researched others who have similar experiences. But what I am describing here is the first symptom that I am writing about. Those that describe things that are happening to them, are having much more grave episodes that I am experiencing. I will cover what I can about others' experiences in the coming weeks and months.
This is my five minute @freewriters post for today. The images were added after the writing was done.
Note:
I did read the rules before posting. And now, I just read the "New users" guide, My last post was a bit of an introduction, plus my attempt to write for five minutes straight. That part of it is fun. The guide said that I should tag @felt.buzz to let you all know that intentions are good. This community does seem to have a good vibe to it. Strange that my first posts are about how I felt a buzz in my extremities. Nice username, by the way. Thanks for the nice guide.
