MI VELERO
Los días en el mar suelen ser muy brillantes
y las noches muy oscuras.
En este velero te admiro alucinante.
¡Es la mejor de mis aventuras! ...
Viajo del Este al Oeste con viento en popa.
Me acompañan mi vela, mi timón y mi orza.
Y no pudo faltar al zarpar,
mi fiel compañero, mi Dios, en alta mar.
Navego lento y despacio
Como el nado de tortuga.
Y en sus islas yo me agracio
para ver su hermosura.
Entre aguas cristalinas
logro ver tu fuga,
¡Oh... Tortuga marina!
Una especie en extinción...
A la noche yo le pido
no me entregue oscuridad.
El mar me ha acogido
Entre su profundidad.
Y Como farol en las tinieblas
quiero la luna brillar
bajo un cielo de estrellas
en tanta inmensidad.
En mi velero yo navego
día y noche en alta mar
¡Déjame contemplarte!
no me dejes encallar.
No me trunques el sueño
de poderte alcanzar
allá en el horizonte
volver a mi hogar.
El mar me trae recuerdos
Cuando mis ojos descansan.
Me llevan a ti caballo recio
dejándote en mis andadas.
Y En mi llanura cabalgar
en este velero al navegar
me recuerdo galopar
Sobre ti desenfrenada...
y los días en el mar suelen ser muy brillantes..

MY SAILBOAT
The days at sea are usually very bright
and very dark nights.
On this sailboat I admire you amazing.
It is the best of my adventures!...
I travel from east to west with smooth winds.
My sail, my rudder and my dagger are with me.

my faithful companion, my god, on the high seas.
I navigate slowly and slowly
