What used to be the Sears store is now an empty building. I remember my mom buying a freezer there. I bought a large window air conditioner. I still have it and it still works.
So Sears is going the way like of Montgomery Wards. Before they were catalog companies and then a brick and mortar place, now just an empty building.
Another look through it's metal doors.
So what happened? Well, I guess Amazon had something to do with it. I myself buy stuff at Amazon. Well, going to a Sears store you might or might not find what you are looking for, but Amazon sells almost everything now days.
But back to Sears, I remember buying the Die Hard Batteries for the vehicles. I thought they were good batteries, but even now, I don't even buy brand new batteries, I buy used batteries, then I charge them up with the old school battery charger. An old school battery charger, in my opinion is a lot better than the modern battery chargers of today.
I buy the old school battery chargers from Ebay. Maybe I'll try to buy an old school Sears battery charger, just for the heck of it.
Do you remember getting the old Sears catalog? When I was a kid I would go through the Sears catalog, just to see what was on sale. I would imagine owning something in the catalog, but of course never buying anything at all.
Sears used to have a really good Auto Repair Shop, well to me it was really good, as I had an oil leak in one of my old cars and they fixed it right up. Well, that was in the old days.
I drive by the empty store all the time. Well, they are gone and nothing buy this empty building is here to prove that at one time, the great Sears store did exist.
Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this the whole of man. Ecclesiastes 12:13.
