How To Identify If A Goal Is Achievable

It's important to set achievable goals in our life to not get disappointed so in this article I try to explain how to decide if a goal is achievable or it can waste your time:
Track daily progress and blockers in a simple way - like make a column of “ complete, partly complete, not at all complete” and another column of blocker, which could be a quick comment of “felt too tired” or “ had pain” or “didn’t feel like it” or “too busy with work”
At the end of the month, measure your success rate and that’s your baseline. Come up with solutions for each of the blockers, like maybe if you’re too tired, it points to a note that yoga actually helps you gain energy, etc.
For me it’s something you’ve identified that prevents you from doing the task at hand. Just any day that you don’t do yoga, try to think of the reason. For me, it’s usually bc I’m overwhelmed with work, so I’d put down “had too much work.” Sometimes it could be “felt exhausted”. That way, you’re tracking (quickly and concisely, so it doesn’t feel overwhelming) what prevented you from performing yoga every day, and you’ll be able to reflect after the month, what were the blockers and then you can brainstorm how to remove them. For example, if you had too much work, you could shorten the yoga session, or you could plan your work day a bit better.
