I walked out of the office pretty late today. Even though I had a train to catch, also the last week of the day and horrible traffic, I was indifferent and was late. But why? The reason was that it was the day to say farewell to someone very dear to us. So I chose the priority and missed the train, kinda willingly.
The last train to leave the city, 11:20 pm from the capital. It's almost 2.00 am to reach my hometown. It's past midnight, so I thought twice about whether it would be wise to travel at that time or not. Early in the morning, there are two trains to travel, so it was my call on which timezone to choose.
I chose the night one, took the risk to travel at night and slept tight. When we. Reached the station, we. Saw it's almost vacant. Fewer than normal days, let alone the rush of the last days of the week. All the rush and people left with those who got a suitable time. Almost everyone travelled to their destination. Only the guys like us who encountered problems remained, and here we go.
The last one to take us to our destinations, to our respective places. Standing still, none around, only the last one calling us. When boarded, it was mostly empty compared to other ones. It started, amidst the darkness, slower than the other day, who knows why he did that, maybe the pressure of taking everyone to leave none. So the rhythmic sound, coming on and on. Due to the sound, I felt sleepy and then took a cup of coffee. These instant coffees aren't caffeinated the way I want them to, but do the job for the time being. Not solid but workable.
And finally, at home. During such messy situations, getting home is kinda relieving and comfortable from the chaos.
