The crowd goes mad, deliberately throwing stones at the poor girl, cursing her to the worst, bleeding her out. If she knew that stealing a loaf of bread will cost her life, she would have rather chosen to die of hunger.

This is my third Zapfic writing by @Felt.Buzz for the prompt CONTEMPT, thanks to him for this thrilling contest. It is so much fun to compress a scene into 240 characters.
