To prevent the spread of the corona virus or Covid-19, Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) volunteers in Bireuen Regency prevented the spread of the corona virus by spraying disinfectant liquid to a number of schools in Bireuen. On Thursday, 07/09/2020.
The activity was carried out by PMI Bireuen prior to being active again teaching and learning face-to-face at school starting on Monday, July 13, 2020 after being imposed new normally by the government during the covid-19 pandemic. Chairman of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Bireuen, Edi Saputra said his party was called upon to conduct social services to break the distribution chain of covid-19 by spraying it into schools.
"I thank all the PMI Bireuen staff who have been proactive enough to carry out social activities during Covid-19 whacking Aceh so far. Hopefully, Bireuen remains in the green zone, "he said.
A number of schools were sprayed with corona virus prevention fluids, including SMAN 1 Bireuen, SMA N 2 Bireuen, MAN 3 Bireuen, and MTSN 5 Bireuen.
"We are doing this social service to welcome the return of junior and senior high school students and learning activities after the local government determines the return of the teaching and learning process. Spraying this disinfectant liquid to anticipate the spread of Covid-19," said the young businessman was pleased.
In addition to spraying corona prevention fluids at school, PMI Bireuen also took part in conducting socialization and covid-19 prevention campaigns by providing various information, understanding and tips on preventing the danger of corona virus.
