I’d like to encourage anybody reading this to try posting short form poetry on Threads with the #bcpoets hashtag.
I post once a day there and have found it to be a great motivator and great practice for writing poetry.
I’d love it if others joined me.
I've tried, but my posts keep disappearing. Idk what I am doing wrong.
Because of the way Threads works, they don't show up immediately when you post them. That is, if you reload the page it will say "post not found" or something like that. If you wait about a minute, it will show up. This is annoying but it may be necessary since Threads are basically a hack on Hive.
Thanks for your help, but I've had the opposite problem. I can see them when I first post them, and right away, but on hour later they are gone. Still gone the next day. Someone suggested I might be putting them in the wrong place, so they get deleted. I can't find my own profile or whatever it's called on threads, I can't find a single thing to be honest. Can't find my own leo wallet. I go straight to the polls when they come out, and that's all I have figured out how to do. Can't find my own leo wallet.

Hmm … I don’t know what the problem could be, but your account is here. When you try to post a thread, are you logged into the Leo front end?
I think you’ll have to sign in to Leo using the URL above and have that open in your browser. Once you’re signed in, you should be able to Thread.
I’m not sure that voting in a poll actually signs you in. To vote, you have to use Hivesigner or something else, and that just verifies your action. I don’t know if it actually signs you in so that you can post afterward.

Do you have this arrow button in the bottom of your screen? If so, press this and it will take you the log in.
I don't see any of those tabs anywhere on the page, and it says I'm logged in.
Hmmm … and you don’t have a two line tab in the upper right or a home icon on the lower left? Like this.
Maybe try signing out (if you can) and logging in again. Or try using a different browser.
I do not see either of those, no. So perplexing!
