Fuzzy moments bludgeon
Mindful agitation sinking
Endless shifting affliction
Like snow it dirties into gray
anxiety; steps making permanent
holes that melt to frozen rain.
Can it be retraced?
Will you find a self?
What did I leave behind?
Unfocused bodies swinging
Thoughts disturb inciting
Continual transit grieving
I love the opening lines of this poem. It's jarring right out of the gate. It made me think of a mental injury and the lingering effects of it. Nice write.
Very nice poem, we are always presented with many things on the road, but we should be thankful that we arrived with health for this 2022, a hug friend I hope and be a great year for you and your family.
