We have already seen the main tourist attractions in Venice.

Those that are normally presented to tourists and those others that sometimes stop unobserved, between the rush to see everything and the rush to move to another city.

Ya hemos vista las principales atracciones turísticas de Venecia.

Aquellas que normalmente son presentadas a los turistas y aquellas otras que a veces parasan inobservadas, entre el apuro por ver de todo y la prisa por pasar a otra ciudad.

In this last installment I am going to show you those other visual delights that normally escape the tourist's eye because they are outside the so-called "centro storico" of the city.

During our weekend in Venice we decided to spend a day visiting the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello.

What can be said about the islands of Murano, Burano, Torcello? That they are wonderful and you buy much better than in Venice, because the shopkeepers know how to advise on how to choose a piece of glass and explain how to be careful with bad Chinese copies. You spend a little more but you see the difference.

Very nice Burano with its colorful houses.

Torcello is a little more isolated and wild, ideal for lovers of total serenity.

En esta última entrega les voy a mostrar aquellas otras delicias visuales que normalmente escapan al ojo del turista porque están fuera del llamado "centro storico" de la ciudad.

Durante nuestro fin de semana en Venecia decidimos dedicar un día a visitar las islas de Murano, Burano y Torcello.

¿Qué se puede decir de las islas de Murano, Burano, Torcello? Que son maravillosas y compras mucho mejor que en Venecia, porque los tenderos saben aconsejar sobre cómo elegir un trozo de vidrio y explican cómo tener cuidado con las malas copias chinas. Gastas un poco más pero ves la diferencia.

Muy bonita Burano con sus coloridas casas.

Torcello está un poco más aislada, ideal para los amantes de la serenidad total.

Admiring Venice at sunset is one of the things I absolutely recommend you do if you are in Venice for a day. Of course, the Serenissima is beautiful at any time of day, but at sunset it becomes something magical, especially if you find the right place.

And what are the best places from which to admire Venice at sunset? I'll tell you in today's mail. Among the places not to be missed, in my opinion, we have Riva Cà di Dio, the Rialto Bridge, the Campanile di San Giorgio and the Punta della Dogana.

Admirar Venecia al atardecer es una de las cosas que te recomiendo absolutamente hacer si estás en Venecia por un día. Por supuesto, la Serenissima es hermosa a cualquier hora del día, pero al atardecer se convierte en algo mágico, especialmente si encuentras el lugar adecuado.

¿Y cuáles son los mejores lugares desde donde admirar Venecia al atardecer? Te lo diré en el correo de hoy. Entre los lugares que no hay que perderse, en mi opinión, tenemos: Riva Cà di Dio, el Puente de Rialto, el Campanile di San Giorgio y la Punta della Dogana.
