Once we got used to our temporary house in Kemer, it occurred to us to go for a few days to the east of Turkey to the city of Alanya, because we heard about their ancient fortress. After 4 hours by bus, we found ourselves in Alanya where we settled in an apart hotel which was good in modern design of mini-apartments. The next day we went to the fortress. In order to get to it, we needed to approach the mountain on the opposite side, where there is a funicular that lifts everyone to the top. As usual there is a two-way ticket and one-way. Our task was to completely bypass this castle, so we bought a one-way. And so our cabin approached us and we flew.

We flew up higher and higher so that our field of view could cover the entire beach of Cleopatra, as well as several neighboring hills. And finally we are in the place from which the great city of Alanya seems to be in the palm of your hand.

The slope of the steep mountain is densely filled with pine trees and after the observation deck near the funicular begins a long way up the stairs to the entrance to the Fortress.

The next observation deck with binoculars, from which you can see everything that is happening on the embankment in two liters, has just passed. After that, climb a little more, and you finally find yourself in front of the gate to the fortress.

And then the stone part of your path begins, but for your convenience it continues to be equipped with wooden stairs. After passing several tunnels, you enter the open part of the fortress on two sides protected by stone walls.

After walking along the terrace, you go up the stairs and go to their local cafe where all visitors to this castle sit. Here you can have a cool cocktail or something to eat.

But hurry to come here earlier to grab the most trump card. If you sit on the edge of the fence, then the best view of everything below you.
Later we go down to a cute alley, which is under a beautiful and rich pale pink sakura blossoms and then we see a chic local mosque in the old country style.

It seems to me that in the case of Turkey, there may be nothing, but the mosque will have to be.
Along the wall belonging to the mosque, some paintings are hung.

Further along the alley is a very beautiful authentic wall with windows in the form of potholes that look great at sunset.

When you come here, you find yourself in a separate town like ordinary Christians, if you can call it that. There are all kinds of atmospheric stone houses around. Everything around here is colorful and bright so it is very nice to walk here.

Then the descent begins, and we go to a wide area, where on the right is an already civilized restaurant, and on the left is a beautiful and significant ruin of orange color due to the sunset with beautiful greenery around.

It is in this city that the part that most closely resembles the castle is located, on the map in this place and marked this point as the castle of Alanya. The square buildings are like a group of castle towers and from which stretches a long wall with characteristic stone teeth, from which I really liked to stick my head out and look at the steep green valley that descends directly to the vast expanses of the sea.

And in the distance you could see a pirate ship from which for some reason Celine Dion's song from the Titanic was heard. We decided to get to the highest point of this wall and take pictures of gorgeous landscapes.

Well, then our path descends lower and lower, passing through the last arch of ancient buildings and coming out to another observation deck, which again offers a view of Alanya.

And later there is a long wide descent that is laid from two roads, for pedestrians and for cars. A wide view of the city opens up when you walk here, we pass more restaurants located parallel to the street.

And the last thing that was final for us here is another very beautiful arch, like the exit from this castle of Alanya. Coincidentally, a taxi was just driving, and we stopped it so as not to drag another hour down to the waterfront.

Looks like a very well-conserved middle ages town!
But, tell me, that ship is also an ancient middle-aged boat?
Most likely Most likely, it was made in the style of the Middle Ages. This is a cruise ship.
