The city of Maracay in Venezuela, has a very peculiar history, close to Caracas, 120 km from the capital, this city, in the decades of the government of Dictator Juan Vicente Gomez, 1910 to 1928, was the preferred city by the dictator Juan Vicente Gomez to live and spend most of his time. This is why several important works were built in the city in that period that I will try to show, after that, in the decades closer to the capital, Maracay had a commercial growth. Maracay, had a very important commercial growth, in this small tour that will be divided into 3 publications, I concentrate on bringing you the opera house located in the vicinity of the Plaza Bolivar, the baseball stadium José Pérez Colmenares, the bicentennial square.

This tour began at the baseball stadium, where the Tigres de Aragua (Aragua Tigers) are the local team, then late at night, I began to walk along Bolivar Avenue, around 11 pm, a city completely alone, very few cars and no people walking, unfortunately crime makes the inhabitants of such a beautiful city, are very afraid to leave their homes to enjoy their city, after 6 pm, when night begins to fall.

This whole tour ended at the Sindoni Tower, a modern building that can be seen throughout the city. All the cities of the world have their peculiarities, beautiful places to visit and to know, this city, in my opinion, has a lot of living history of Venezuela that should be spread not only for the people who live there, but also for the lovers of history and the history of Venezuela. That should be spread not only for the people who live there but also for the lovers of history and cultures from all over the world.
