We're going back. In addition to many coconut and rubber plantations, there are also many pineapple plantations. Kerala seems to be very rich, a green paradise. It is incomprehensible to me why the country is poor. Nature seems so full of wealth.
I was often amazed along the way; I saw a lot of curiositys.
Like, for example, this transport of wood - would be forbidden in Austria and who knows how much fine you would have to pay!

I finally have enough coconut water to drink! 🥰
Fermented palm wine:
It is tapped from the coconut palm, no sugar or anything else in it.
A little bit nutty in taste. It takes a few sips to get used to the taste, but after half the glass it tastes better and better.😬
Cocoa:
I saw it for the first time, it tasted very bitter, I didn't like it. But if you like bitter, it gives you instant energy, similar to coffee.

Kerala is beautiful country. Whenever I visit India I have to close my eyes on the road and ignore everything. I'm just glad somebody else is driving. Enjoy the coconuts. I will hang out in Southern India for the last few weeks of February.

Ha, you made it home OK since then, I assume! Didn't get 'beaned' by a coconut, lol - something I watched tourists being cautioned in Hawaii - and there were cases, so the police in Waikiki put barrier tape around the trees.
Must have been quite a trip.
On Lanai (Oahu) at the Polynesian Culture Center, I watched the same kind of demo. Samoan guy climbing the tree bringing down the coconuts, then shredding the outer hull, opening the coconut and offering drinks of the milk to the tourists. There were some Korean ladies, and the one who tasted it, he told her 'come on, drink it all up' - after she did, he said to her: 'Oh I forgot to tell you, we use the coconut milk as a laxative' (Abführmittel).
I laughed about that for hours afterwards. Should have seen her face, lol.

I remember when I was in kerala...I also drink many coconut. The tree cutting is illegal but some how people still cutting the tree.
