Safari Journey at Siantar Zoo

Hi bloggers, today I want to share my safari journey. This safari journey was quite fun because it has been a long time since I visited the zoo. In the past, zoos were only for small children, but now I know that knowledge about animals is also necessary for adults.

This holiday I went to Siantar zoo, one of the big zoos in North Sumatra. They have many animals here. The area of the zoo is about 4 hectares with many species of animals here ranging from land animals and marine animals.

I started walking from bird species, there are Sulphur-Crested Cackatoo, Blue and Gold Macaw to some eagle species. Their bodies are large and plump, their feathers well-groomed.

The place is also beautiful nature and comfortable. They had so many big tree and flower around this place.

And I was walking through the bridge there is an iguana cage adjacent to the crocodile cage. The crocodiles here are also quite large, there are estuarine crocodiles and freshwater crocodiles.

Not far from the crocodile enclosure we can also see a species of civet.

They also have hippos, capybara, and predatory fish and some other animals like deer, zebra, alpaca, orangutan and monkeys. This orangutan was very coquettish if a male visitor saw her.

What amazed me the most was that this was the first time I saw peacocks in person. They are really beautiful with amazing feather colors. What a memorial journey for me.
