Hello friends, Sunday I was alone because unfortunately my boyfriend had to work so I decided to go and see a dear friend of mine who lives near Treviso, an important city in Italy.
Given the beautiful day and in any case also considering the season the temperatures are still quite high I had in mind to go for a walk somewhere.
My friend practically lives in a town in the province of Treviso called Casier and this town develops along the Sile river.
Near this beautiful river there is a beautiful pedestrian path where you can walk and admire the nature that surrounds you.
As usual, I took the opportunity to take some photos to share here with you.
The colors of the trees were amazing i couldn't resist not taking some pictures.
Along our walk, we met several swans that live and reproduce here and this was a wonderful encounter for me because it had been a long time since I had seen one.
In fact she told me that there are many birds that live here precisely because it is a corner still untouched by man.
Among other things it almost seemed that it was tame because it came looking for us perhaps because it wanted food, but we must not feed these animals that live in the wild because we risk getting them used to it badly and causing them to die.
I forgot to tell you that this river is navigable. In fact, small cruises that take tourists around are also organized in this river.
You must know that this river was once very important at the time of the Republic of Venice because it connected Venice with Treviso, two important cities for this republic.
Continuing our walk we also saw other birds including many seagulls and then I also took some photos of the beautiful Casier church that could be seen in the distance.
In this last photo you see a strange building that looks almost like something ancient, it is actually an oil factory which has since been abandoned over time, Now it's just being used by a lot of people to go and do these particular explorations of abandoned places.
But it seems that this area has been sold and will soon be redeveloped also because a few years ago there was a bad fire here that put this nature reserve at risk.
A part of the stretch of road where we were walking was completely covered by leaves that had fallen from the trees, really impressive and then we also met some quite large ducks.
It's nice to see that these animals live freely here without anyone bothering them.
It's nice that there are places like this where you can come for a walk but, from my point of view, they should be a little more valued and made known to other people as well.
I hope you enjoyed my story and also my photos for me it was really a very relaxing day in the middle of nature.
