First off, three vs. one on a first-person shooter like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 might be considered excessive, but you have to remember that Cam is a gamer savant. When most people are doing everyday after-work activities like watching TV & sports, doing positive things for the community, and spending quality time with loved ones (okay, admittedly maybe not as many regular people are doing those last two as much as they should...), Cam was spending all that time playing video games and honing his gaming skills. Hey, it's a small price to pay for the crushing & utter humiliation of one's gamer enemies!
As for Jen, I just want to be clear that it is never okay to lie to your parents. Okay, almost never... I think a little lie is justified when it involves dodging a date with someone who picks & eats their boogers. Or is that, as Jen's mom says, being too "picky"? 😉

Actually, I did debate with myself about changing the wording in the 3rd panel from "high school" to "grade school". After all, it does seem a bit much that a kid in high school would still be eating boogers. But ultimately, I stuck with the original wording. And after all, Caddyshack did set a precedent with that scene with the Smails boy: 😁
