Nerd By Northwest #340 – “Internet Notoriety”

This is a call-back from a LONG time ago. We're talking my black-and-white, drawn-on-paper-and-scanned-in comics all the way back in 2017... in this case, Nerd By Northwest #19 "Albedo". So it seems while Ash's Bitcoin millionaire status has persisted, his notoriety on social media (as well as pictures of his butt) has stuck around as well.
Jen's brother Josh making his appearance here is a US Air Force pilot, just like their father was. Now if you ask around, you're likely to hear a great number of varied (and extremely strong) opinions on which branch of the US armed forces is the hardest-partying, hardest-drinking of them all. Having lived most of my life next to military posts & bases and having worked in several of them over the years, in my experience they ALL seem to have the capacity to "turn it up to 11" (I'm sure one of you can name THAT movie reference 😁). So it's uncertain that Ash can get through the experience of a US Air Force bachelor party undamaged.
And even less certain that he'll do so with most of his clothes still on... 😏

Interestingly enough, having been at a certain computer security conference in Las Vegas multiple times, I noticed that many of my fellow computer nerd attendees were just as hard-drinkin' and hard-partyin' as some of the Army and Air Force guys (both active and retired) I worked with later. Maybe not 'conventional' macho, but 'intellectual computer nerd macho' can be just as eye-opening and dysfunctional... 😁
I work with some geeky guys and some of them like a drink. I just find lots of drink doesn't agree with me these days. I can still enjoy myself on a night out.
