Creo firmemente que soy una soñadora, y a veces estoy en conflicto conmigo misma por eso. Creo que he llegado a pensar que el soñar me ha hecho más idealista y menos realista, pero ¿Acaso es malo eso?
Ultimamente he llegado a entender que mis sueños, mis objetivos y mi forma de pensar es lo que me hace SER YO MISMA. Y en realidad mis sueños no tienen que ser idealistas, pueden ser realistas si pongo empeño en cumplirlos. Creo en la ley de atracción, y por eso siempre los plasmo.
Es por eso que decidí participar en esta iniciativa de @radiohive para plasmarles 5 sueños que tengo por cumplir y sentirme un poquito más cerca de ellos, pero como no quiero ser idealista sino ser más realista no solo me concentraré en plasmarlos sino también en explicar como pienso lograrlos. Así con algo de suerte podré lograr que aunque sea uno de ustedes se sienta inspirado a plasmar sus objetivos
Les confieso que cuando empecé el bachillerato, pensaba en dedicarme a ser escritora. Siempre me gustó contar historias, y cuando leí mi primer libro "adulto" por decirlo así, algo hizo click en mi cabeza y dije: ¡Esto es! ¡Así voy a contar mis historias, escribiendo libros!
Por supuesto que gracias al arte he descubierto muchas otras maneras de contar historias que también disfruto y que me permiten diversificarme, pero esta sigue siendo una de mis metas. Siento que los libros te dan algo que no te da el cine: LA POSIBILIDAD INFINITA DE LA IMAGINACIÓN. Por eso me parecen tan mágicos...
Y, ¿sobre qué escribiría? Pues misterio, fantasía, terror...Me encantaría causar emociones extremas en mis lectores y hacerlos pensar, pero también perder el control JAJAJAJA.
¿Cómo lo lograré? Pues, el primer paso claro está es escribir. Escribiré varias obras, hasta que me sienta lo suficientemente convencida con una de ellas como para publicarla. Luego de tener mi obra lista, tengo 2 opciones: Publicar con una editorial o auto-publicar. Sinceramente preferiría publicar con una editorial principalmente por dos razones:
- Me ahorraría un montón de trabajo y dinero.
- Me daría mejor reputación como escritora.
Sin embargo mi plan es el siguiente: Enviar a varias editoriales, pero si al cabo de 2 años no recibo respuesta alguna comenzaré mi proceso de auto-publicación, lo cual también es emocionante.
¡Wow! Un sueño demasiado grande, pero no imposible. Y es que tal como mencioné anteriormente, me encanta la idea de contar historias de maneras muy diversas. El cine es una de esas maneras, una de las que más me gusta de hecho. Y cuando estaba en 4to año del bachillerato pensé en estudiar Artes Audiovisuales, meta que mantengo el día de hoy puesto que es la rama de mi carrera en la que tengo pensado especializarme.
Una de las cosas que más me llaman la atención de hacer cine es la capaz de causar emociones profundas en los espectadores. Amo la dirección de fotografía, el soundtrack y la actuación pero lo que más me apasionaría es escribir y dirigir la película. Me encantaría llevar alguno de mis libros a la gran pantalla o escribir una historia nueva totalmente diferente...No lo sé, no me limito.
¿Cómo lo lograré? Es un camino bastante largo, y aún no tengo muy claro pero comenzaré adquiriendo muchísima experiencia en el área de cine. Quiero trabajar en una productora audiovisual, luego tal vez dirigir vídeos musicales, hacer cortometrajes y dejar que las oportunidades lleguen.
Por supuesto que también podría hacer películas de manera independiente, posibilidad que también he explorado.

Los viajes me apasionan muchísimo, y es que tal como mencioné en mi participación en el #RetoTop5 de la semana pasada conocer nuevos lugares y culturas te brinda una imagen increíble del mundo tan asombroso en el que vivimos. Quisiera pasar al menos unos 2 años como viajera a tiempo completo, conociendo a fondo mi país: Venezuela, y conociendo muchos países del mundo. Pasaría varias semanas en un país para conocerlo mejor y luego me mudaría a otro...
Básicamente tendría el estilo de vida de una nómada digital, trabajando freelance por internet mientras conozco el mundo completo. Comencé a interesarme por este estilo de vida al ver un documental de DW en el que se trata el tema, y luego comencé a seguir a varios creadores de contenido que viven viajando. Esto me inspiró mucho a ponermelo como objetivo, y es que en realidad es una manera de vivir la vida al máximo.
Aparte de los 5 países que mencioné en el post de la semana pasada, me encantaría conocer muchos más. Por ejemplo India y Singapur llaman mucho mi atención, al igual que Filipinas, Fiyi, Australia y Rumanía. Pero no me limito, quiero conocer muchísimos países.
¿Cómo lo lograré? Creo que Hive puede ayudarme mucho en este sentido, pues me permitiría compartir mis viajes mientras gano dinero por ello. También quiero ser creadora de contenido para agencias de viajes, pues estas muchas veces patrocinan los viajes de sus creadores. En cualquier caso, también tengo la opción de ser mochilera y debo decir que ME ENCANTA LA IDEA.
De cualquier manera tengo muy claro que yo voy a viajar muchísimo y probablemente también cuente esas experiencias en algún libro o película.

Este sueño va bastante relacionado con el anterior, pero en una onda totalmente diferente. Sería viajar pero con el propósito de adquirir experiencia académica o profesional en otro país. Cuando hablo de intercambio me refiero a cursos, pasantías o voluntariados. Actividades en el extranjero que me dejen aprendizajes prácticos y me permitan vivir nuevas experiencias...
¿Cómo lo lograré? Pues, hace aproximadamente un mes comencé a trabajar con una organización juvenil internacional llamada AIESEC. Lo que hacemos en AIESEC es ofrecer intercambios como pasantías y voluntariados, por lo que veo una buena posibilidad de tomar un intercambio en un futuro cercano.
¡Así que comenzaré a ahorrar desde ya para tomar mi intercambio en el extranjero!

Creo que tener mi propio negocio es una de las mejores cosas que puedo hacer, ser dueña de mi tiempo y ser emprendedora. Me encantaría empezar un negocio de Marketing Digital, de producción audiovisual o de moda. Tal vez ser socia de mi pareja y que nuestro negocio nos permita estar más unidos, crecer juntos y emprender muchos proyectos.
No me apetece mucho la idea de una super gran empresa, sino más bien un negocio pequeño que no me consuma tanto tiempo y energías como una empresa más grande. Pocos empleados, probablemente con tele-trabajo y alianzas con otras empresas que nos permitan agilizar procesos, ¡Así lo veo yo!
¿Cómo lo lograré? En primer lugar quiero capacitarme bien en emprendimiento de negocios, marketing y finanzas. Luego sería comenzar, ofrecer mis servicios y hacer un portafolio de ventas en el que demuestre a mis clientes como podría trabajar para ellos. Probablemente al principio tenga que hacer todo el trabajo sola pero después iría incorporando personas al proyecto para ir creciendo hasta lograr los resultados.

Así que estos son mis sueños. Algunos más grandes que otros, pero todos sumamente emocionantes...Y estoy trabajando duro para cumplirlos todos. Para finalizar quiero dejarles una reflexión, pero antes de leerla quiero que den play a esta canción para que la escuchen mientras leen:
Solo tú eres dueño de tu futuro, de tus metas, de tu destino.
Jamás permitas que otros decidan sobre tus metas, lo que te hace feliz, lo que te llena, lo que te apasiona.
Puedes ser lo que tu desees en este mundo, siempre y cuando te lo propongas y trabajes duro por ello.
Y si, puede que sea un cliché, pero también es lo que verdaderamente creo.
Cumplir lo que te propones no será nada fácil, habrán subidas altas como montañas, valles tenebrosos de atravesar pero ¿Sabes qué? Eso está bien porque aprenderás en el camino, y estarás mejor preparado para asumir nuevos retos.
No te obsesiones por la meta, disfruta el camino, pues es lo que más recordarás al llegar.
Y no importa lo que pase, recuerda a los que siempre estuvieron contigo en el camino pues esas personas son las que merecen tu apoyo incondicional.

I firmly believe that I am a dreamer, and sometimes I am in conflict with myself because of that. I think I have come to think that dreaming has made me more idealistic and less realistic, but is that bad?
Lately I have come to understand that my dreams, my goals, and my way of thinking is what makes me BEING MYSELF. And actually my dreams don't have to be idealistic, they can be realistic if I put my mind to them. I believe in the law of attraction, and that's why I always make them happen.
That's why I decided to participate in this initiative of @radiohive to capture 5 dreams that I have to fulfill and feel a little closer to them, but as I don't want to be an idealist but to be more realistic I will not only concentrate on capturing them but also on explaining how I plan to achieve them. This way, with some luck, I will be able to make one of you feel inspired to make your goals come true.
I confess that when I started high school, I thought about becoming a writer. I always liked telling stories, and when I read my first "adult" book so to speak, something clicked in my head and I said: This is it! This is how I'm going to tell my stories, writing books!
Of course, thanks to art I have discovered many other ways to tell stories that I also enjoy and that allow me to diversify, but this is still one of my goals. I feel that books give you something that cinema doesn't: THE INFINITE POSSIBILITY OF IMAGINATION. That's why they seem so magical to me...
And, what would you write about? Well, mystery, fantasy, terror... I would love to cause extreme emotions in my readers and make them think, but also lose control.
How will I do it? Well, the first step is to write. I will write several works, until I feel convinced enough with one of them to publish it. After having my work ready, I have 2 options: Publish with a publisher or self-publish. I would sincerely prefer to publish with a publisher mainly for two reasons:
- It would save me a lot of work and money.
- It would give me a better reputation as a writer.
However, my plan is as follows: Send to several publishers, but if after 2 years I don't receive any response I will start my self-publishing process, which is also exciting.
Wow! A dream too big, but not impossible. As I mentioned before, I love the idea of telling stories in very different ways. Cinema is one of those ways, one of the ones I like the most in fact. And when I was in 4th year of high school I thought about studying Audiovisual Arts, a goal that I maintain today since it is the branch of my career in which I plan to specialize.
One of the things that most attracts me to filmmaking is the ability to cause deep emotions in viewers. I love directing photography, soundtrack and acting but what I would love most is to write and direct the film. I would love to take some of my books to the big screen or write a totally different new story... I don't know, I don't limit myself.
How will I do it? It's a long road, and I'm not sure yet, but I'll start by gaining a lot of experience in the film industry. I want to work in an audiovisual production company, then maybe direct music videos, make short films and let the opportunities come.
Of course I could also make films independently, a possibility that I have also explored.

I am very passionate about travel, and as I mentioned in my participation in last week's #Top5 Challenge, getting to know new places and cultures gives you an incredible picture of the amazing world we live in. I would like to spend at least 2 years as a full time traveler, getting to know my country in depth: Venezuela, and getting to know many countries around the world. I would spend several weeks in one country to get to know it better and then I would move to another one...
I would basically have the lifestyle of a digital nomad, working freelance over the internet while getting to know the whole world. I started to get interested in this lifestyle by watching a DW documentary on the subject, and then I started to follow several content creators who live on the road. This really inspired me to make it my goal, and it's actually a way to live life to the fullest.
Apart from the 5 countries I mentioned in last week's post, I would love to meet many more. For example India and Singapore attract my attention a lot, as well as the Philippines, Fiji, Australia and Romania. But I don't limit myself, I want to know a lot of countries.
How will I achieve this? I think Hive can help me a lot in this sense, as it would allow me to share my trips while I earn money for it. I also want to be a content creator for travel agencies, as they often sponsor the trips of their creators. In any case, I also have the option to be a backpacker and I must say that I LOVE THE IDEA.
Anyway, I am very clear that I am going to travel a lot and I will probably tell about those experiences in a book or a movie.

This dream is quite related to the previous one, but on a totally different wave. It would be to travel but with the purpose of acquiring academic or professional experience in another country. When I talk about exchange I mean courses, internships or volunteering. Activities abroad that leave me with practical learning and allow me to live new experiences...
How will I achieve this? Well, about a month ago I started working with an international youth organization called AIESEC. What we do at AIESEC is to offer exchanges as internships and volunteering, so I see a good possibility to take up an exchange in the near future.
So I will start saving now to take my exchange abroad!

I think having my own business is one of the best things I can do, owning my time and being an entrepreneur. I would love to start a Digital Marketing, audiovisual production or fashion business. Maybe be a partner of my partner and that our business allows us to be more united, grow together and undertake many projects.
I don't really want the idea of a super big company, but rather a small business that doesn't consume as much time and energy as a larger company. Few employees, probably with teleworking and alliances with other companies that allow us to speed up processes, that's how I see it!
How will I achieve this? First of all I want to train myself well in business entrepreneurship, marketing and finance. Then it would be to start, offer my services and make a sales portfolio in which I show my clients how I could work for them. Probably at the beginning I would have to do all the work alone but later I would incorporate people to the project to grow until I achieve the results.

So these are my dreams. Some bigger than others, but all extremely exciting...And I'm working hard to fulfill them all. Finally I want to leave you with a reflection, but before reading it I want you to play this song so you can listen to it while you read:
Never allow others to decide on your goals, what makes you happy, what fills you, what you are passionate about.
You can be whatever you want in this world, as long as you set your mind to it and work hard for it.
And yes, it may be a cliché, but it is also what I truly believe.
Fulfilling what you set out to do will not be easy, there will be high climbs like mountains, dark valleys to cross but you know what? That's good because you will learn along the way, and you will be better prepared to take on new challenges.
Don't be obsessed with the goal, enjoy the road, because that's what you'll remember most when you get there.
And no matter what happens, remember those who have always been with you on the road because those people are the ones who deserve your unconditional support.
