Доброго вечора всім добрим людям.
24 лютого 2022 року о 5-й ранку за Київським часом я прокинувся від гучних вибухів. Тремтіли шибки у вікнах, завивали сигналізації автомобілів. Розбудив дружину. Ми встали, одягнулися і взулися, мовчки склали у рюкзак документи, гроші та ліки. Про те, що війна почнеться, ми знали давно, з 2015 року ми були готові і розуміли це. А гучні заяви кремлівського карлика останніми днями лютого не вселяли оптимізм.
Пам'ятаю, як ми сиділи на дивані вранці 24 лютого і вирішували, чи потрібно нам евакуюватися. Нам вистачило обмінятися кількома фразами і вирішити, що евакуюватися повинні молоді жінки з дітьми, а не дві людини, які вже давно розміняли п'ятий десяток.
А коли ми вирішили залишатися, то треба готувати себе до реальності. Скажу чесно, моє прийняття реальності відбувалося довго, три доби знадобилося мені щоб зрозуміти, що світ змінився.
І ось сьогодні минуло 9 місяців із того дня, багато подій сталося. Але сталося найголовніше – переоцінка друзів та знайомих. Багато хто показали себе не з кращого боку, за 9 місяців жодного разу не поцікавилися, як ми тут. За 9 місяців ні дзвінка по телефону, ні повідомлення до месенджера. А знайшлися і ті, хто відкрито почав насміхатися і говорити – так вам і треба, вас зараз росіяни навчать батьківщину любити. Знаю, що тепер їм соромно за свої слова. Але прощати їх не збираюся. Після того, що росіяни наробили на Українській землі, немає прощення тим, хто сидячи в м'яких диванах підтримував окупантів. Не можна прощати всіх тих, хто мовчазно схвалював убивства та насильство, страти та тортури, руйнування будинків та заводів. Вони й зараз радіють тому, що ми сидимо в темряві, але наша темрява пройде, а чорнота їхніх душ ніколи не відмиється. Але що б зараз не намагалася зробити росія, щоб не кричали її пропагандисти з екранів телевізорів, як би не намагалися в коментарях тролі, відпрацювати тридцять срібників – кінець путінської Росії ближче, ніж це можна собі уявити. Колос на глиняних ногах уже хитається і це видно за багатьма ознаками. Друга армія світу просить бронежилети в Ірану, міни у Північної Кореї, мобілізовані росіяни самі купують собі обмундирування. А дід війни путін говорить матерям солдатів, що їхні діти все одно померли б від горілки або в дтп безцільно проживши життя, то нехай вони помруть на війні.
І так перемога кується на фронті, а обстріл мирних міст України не вплине на успіхи нашої армії на фронті. Ми повернемо свої території, я впевнений. А росія, так що про неї говорити, завершить крахом як і всі імперії – такий закон історії.

On February 24, 2022 at 5 am Kyiv time, I woke up from loud explosions. Windows trembled, car alarms howled. Woke up my wife. We got up, dressed and put on shoes, silently put documents, money and medicines in a backpack. We knew for a long time that the war would begin, since 2015 we were ready and understood this. And the loud statements of the Kremlin dwarf in the last days of February did not inspire optimism.
I remember how we sat on the couch on the morning of February 24 and decided whether we needed to evacuate. It was enough for us to exchange a few phrases and decide that young women with children should be evacuated, and not two worldly-wise people who have long exchanged their fifth decade.
And since we decided to stay, we must prepare ourselves for reality. To be honest, my acceptance of reality took a long time, it took me three days to understand that the world had changed.
And today, 9 months have passed since that day, a lot of events have happened. But the most important thing happened – a reassessment of friends and acquaintances. Many showed themselves not from the best side, for 9 months they never asked how we are here. For 9 months, no phone call, no message in the messenger. And there were those who openly began to mock and say – that's what you need, now the Russians will teach you to love your homeland. I know that they are now ashamed of their words. But I'm not going to forgive them. After all that the Russians have done on Ukrainian soil, there is no forgiveness for those who, sitting in soft sofas, supported the invaders. It is impossible to forgive all those who tacitly approved of murders and violence, executions and torture, destruction of houses and factories. Even now they rejoice at the fact that we are sitting in the dark, but our darkness will pass, and the blackness of their souls will never be washed off. But no matter what Russia is trying to do now, no matter what its propagandists shout from the TV screens, no matter how hard the trolls try in the comments, to work out thirty pieces of silver – the end of Putin's Russia is closer than one can imagine. Kollos on clay feet is already staggering and this can be seen in many ways. The second army of the world asks for bulletproof vests from Iran, mines from North Korea, the mobilized Russians buy their own uniforms. And the grandfather of the war, Putin, tells the mothers of soldiers that their children would still die from vodka or live aimlessly in an accident, so let them die in the war.
And yes, victory is forged at the front, and the shelling of peaceful cities in Ukraine will not affect the success of our army at the front. We will return our territories, I'm sure. And Russia, yes, what can I say about it, will collapse like all empires – such is the law of history.
