Recently I have discovered something about me, my new obsession. I was always interested in creating a small garden on my balcony but due to lack of space, I couldn't do it. I have been thinking about how to create a small indoor garden but I had no clue. Honestly, I was not so sure where should I start because I didn't want to waste my money. I have bought a lot of plants before and many of them are already dead after the season.
I have written a post before about my discovery of a local plant shop and what kind of plants I was willing to buy. I also made a video talking about my orchids and showed how they are doing nowadays. After 2 years, finally, my orchids are doing great and gave me a lot of flowers. So after seeing the development, I decided to go to the local plant shop again, the same one that I have visited before.
Knowing the price of the plants, I still wanted to visit the shop in the hope of buying something at least. I have heard that their plant's quality is good and worthy to buy. So, after observing the conditions of my orchids, I decided to pay a visit once again in the orchid section.
A large portion of the shop is full of orchids, I saw it last time. I have already 5-6 orchid plants on my window sill so I decided why not add another new member in the family. My existing orchids are mostly white and purple, I guess one is yellow shaded. I mostly collect Moth Orchids (Phalaenopsis) because I know how to take care of them. Besides, they grow nicely on my window sill.
This shop has plenty of orchid collections, various colors, and species. Most of them are Phalaenopsis orchids, few of them were other species.
This time I paid attention in searching for different colors, mostly orange-yellow shade, and pink shade. Last time I bought a blue orchid and later I realized it was for one time. The blue sapphire color was really amazing but now next time it will give me white orchids as it was dyed. The cost of Each orchid pot was 312 UAH, pretty expensive according to other shops. But the quality is really good.
Finally, I have got a nice orange shaded orchid for myself, which costs me around 20$.
Later I went to the accessories section, I wanted to buy a nice colorful pot with a drainage system and also a plate to put it on. I also bought fertilizers for my plant, after summer, I will give fertilizers. I still don't know about repotting and also not gonna do it because I don't wanna give my plants a shock.
I also bought a basket for home, they look very pretty and perfect for keeping my dog's toys. People use these baskets for different reasons and my reason is to organize my dog's toys. LOL...
This one was also on my list but I said to myself, no more white, you have already enough...
