There are a lot of parks in Kharkiv city and each park holds its own history. It's fascinating to find out the background history of the park but many don't do that. It often feels good walking silently into this type of park. Not only one can feel close to nature but also one can spend a nice time there without getting bored.
This is a Central park of Kharkiv city, this park is open for everyone and people don't care about the season while walking into this park. Even I have seen during cold weather, people walk here with their family and with dogs. Every season has its own beauty and to experience that this park is the best. Most refined and well-maintained park in Kharkiv.
Several walkways are connected to each other in this park and in the end, they are all connected to the main axis. This park is divided into several portions and each zone has its own names and carries a significant history. There is no defined entrance so anybody can enter the park anywhere and anytime. Nowadays people call it Shevchenko City Garden.
I normally take the shortcut walkway that is near to the metro station. One interesting fact is, you can't step into the green, that zone is restricted... Not even your dog can enter there... Hahaha...
Most of the plants are red maple, acacia, and some magnolia. This park totally reconstructed last year and opened a new era in landscape design.

Isaac Dunaevsky is known as a soviet film and music composer and music teacher as well. He authored four ballets and 11 operettas and had done music for several films. He was born in Poltava Region, Ukraine into a Jewish family. He made a huge contribution to the soviet music industry...
Claudia was a friend of Dunaevsky and they were part of Kharkiv Drama Theater and Krasnozavodsk Drama Theater. They did some work together at Khatob ( Kharkiv Opera House) and Dunaevsky was Claudia's teacher as well...

This sculpture is made of bronze and details can be visible clearly. The artist has done a really good job presenting these two ironic characters of Kharkiv city.
There are sitting arrangements for everyone, you can sit there and enjoy the beauty of this monument/sculpture. The main aim behind this sculpture was to educate everyone about these two significant characters and introduce them to the kids who are the future of Ukraine. Also, this sculpture reminds everyone of their contribution to Soviet Culture and the music industry...
