Hello Hive!
My name is Tomas, I live in Uzhhorod, Ukraine. I am 37 years old. As you know, we have been at war with the Russian occupiers for the last 8 years. For the last 10 days, this war has been especially cynical and brutal. In my past life, before the war, I was a dancer, computer engineer, poet and content creator (copywriter). Now I am a little detail in the machine of resistance of my people to the Russian occupiers. I am currently assembling and repairing laptops and handing them over to the army and refugees.
I still don't know what I will write about in this blog, but there are a couple of topics that I'm interested in. The most important thing now is volunteer assistance to our military and refugees. I have already mentioned it.
Food. I love delicious food and cooking, I also know how to cook. I hope that later I will share with you recipes that I like the most, as well as recipes of authentic Ukrainian and Transcarpathian cuisine.
Political analytics. Recent events have shown how weak is the world's understanding of what is really happening in Ukraine. I will try to talk about it as objectively and reasonably as possible.
Videogames. Right now the timing is not good, but I play sometimes. So we can discuss some new games and trends of the global computer and gaming markets.
My level of English is not as good as I would like, but I will work on it. See you in the next publications!

Мене звати Томаш, я мешкаю в Україні, в місті Ужгород мені 37. Як ви знаєте, у нас 8 рік йде війна з російськими окупантами. Останні 10 днів ця війна особливо цинічна і жорстока. У минулому житті я був танцівником, комп’ютерним інженером, поетом та контент криейтером (письменником). Зараз я маленький гвинтик у машині спротиву мого народу російським окупантам. Наразі я займаюсь збором та ремонтом ноутбуків та передаю їх на потреби армії та біженців.
Я ще до кінця не знаю про що писатиму у цьому блозі, але зараз мене цікавлять кілька тем. Найголовніше – волонтерська допомога нашим військовим та біженцям зі сходу країни. Про це я вже написав вище.
Їжа. Я люблю смачно поїсти а також люблю і вмію готувати. Сподіваюсь, з часом ділитимусь з вами рецептами, котрі мені подобаються найбільше, а також рецептами автентичної української та закарпатської кухні.
Політична аналітика. Останні події показали, наскільки слабке розуміння у світі того, що насправді зараз відбувається в Україні. Я намагатимусь про це говорити максимально об’єктивно та аргументовано.
Комп’ютерні ігри. Так, зараз це все не на часі, але я інколи граю. Тож можемо обговорити декотрі нові ігри та тенденції на світових ринках комп’ютерної техніки й виробництва ігор.
Поки мій рівень англійської не такий високий, як хотілося б, тому, можливо, тим хто не володіє українською не все буде зрозуміло. Але я працюватиму над цим і до зустрічі у наступних постах.

I can't support the Ukrainian government. I am an anarchist. But I certainly can't support Russian militarism, and hope the Ukrainian people find a way to resist and oust invaders. I hate the hypocrisy of the US government rightly condemning Russia after the past decades of its own invasions and puppet state interventions. I am concerned about the long-term global consequences of NATO intervention escalating conflicts, but I'm sure there is an appeal to a short-term involvement to crush those Russian forces. It's a mess, and you are in the middle facing problems no matter the outcome.
