In fact, the season started two weeks ago, but for some reason there was no time and mood to write about this.
My mother once said that she could save her own garden in difficult times. After all, that was the case in the 1990s, when my husband and I lost our jobs. It was the parents who kept cattle in the village and planted everything in the field who supported us very much. And we helped them to work in the village.
In recent years, I have repeatedly wanted to completely leave my garden. After all, as some user wrote here, given the cost of travel, fertilizers and plowing, growing vegetables is economically unprofitable... My village is 80 km from the city, and travel is constantly rising due to lack of gasoline.

Насправді сезон було розпочато ще два тижні тому, але чомусь ніяк не було часу та настрою, щоб написати.
Колись моя мама завжди казала, що власний город може порятувати у тяжкі часи. Зрештою, так і було у 90-ті роки, коли ми з чоловіком втратили роботу. Саме батьки, що тримали в селі худобу і садили все на полі, дуже нас підтримали.
В останні роки я вже не раз хотіла повністю покинути моє городництво. Адже, як писав тут хтось, врахувавши вартість проїзду, добрив та орання, вирощування овочів є економічно невигідно... Моє село знаходиться за 80 км від міста, а проїзд постійно дорожчає через брак бензину:(((
Проте моя донька вже третій рік поспіль проводить теплий сезон в селі, тому вона може приглянути за грядками. Цьогоріч є ще одна причина мати власні продукти з городу - це війна. Адже зовсім невідомо, що буде з цінами на їжу і в багатьох областях, на жаль, люди не можуть посіяти пшеницю чи інші культури через клятих окупантів.
However, my daughter @lilideleopolis has been spending a warm season in the village for the third year in a row, so she can look after the beds. This year there is another reason to have your own products from the garden. It's the war. It is not known at all what will happen to food prices, and in many areas, unfortunately, people cannot sow wheat or other crops because of the cursed occupiers.
So, in my small garden this year, I set aside space for radishes, potatoes, carrots, beets, onions, beans, cucumbers and zucchini, as well as various greens. Our soil needs to be fertilized, now the fertilizer I used in previous years has disappeared from sale. I think I will find a replacement.
Yesterday my daughter sent me a photo of a young onion and bean, which have already grown well.
Many Ukrainians return to the traditions of their parents and grandparents, remember the dachas and villages to make life easier. And I think that's a positive!
And we will fight for our land. And we will not give it to the enemies-rashists.

Отож, на моєму маленькому городі я цього року виділила місце на редиску, картоплю, моркву, буряк, цибулю, квасолю і біб, огірки і кабачки, а також різну зелень. Наш ґрунт треба підживлювати, зараз зникло з продажу добриво, яке я використовувала в минулі роки. Думаю, що знайду заміну.
Вчора донька прислала мені фото молодої цибульки і бобу, які вже гарно зійшли. Скоро буде в неї робота - полоти бур'яни.
Чимало українців повертаються до традицій своїх батьків та дідів селян, згадують про дачі та села, щоб полегшити собі життя. І я думаю, в цьому є позитив! Так ми краще відчуваємо рідну землю.
І ми будемо за неї боротись. І не віддамо її ворогам рашистам.
