Las clases en los colegios públicos terminaron el último día del mes de junio, ya que se deben preparar para las próximas elecciones. En el colegio de mi hijo organizaron la fiesta de despedida para el 28 de junio.
En este día se celebraría el último timbre, que es una celebración de la cual no tenía conocimiento, era algo que solo había escuchado de los graduados en la universidad, y no en todas.
La maestra nos dio la opción de que si queríamos podíamos hacerle compañía a nuestros hijos este día y la verdad yo quería asistir porque quería tomarle muchas fotos a mi hijo para el recuerdo, pues el final de una gran etapa y el inicio de una aún más emocionante.

Para este día la maestra en compañía de los alumnos llegaron al acuerdo de que iban a mandar a hacer unas franelas con el nombre de cada niño y la palabra "Promovido".
Esto desde un principio me pareció un gasto un tanto innecesario pues se supone que estamos en un colegio público, y es algo que solo usarán un solo día, no es algo que todos puedan costear.
En nuestro caso era así, no contábamos con ese dinero y lo hice saber. La abuela de uno de los compañeros de mi hijo me escribió para ofrecerme pagarla y nosotros agradecidos con su gesto lo aceptamos. Por eso mi hijo logró tener su franela.

La maestra había hecho una decoración con globos para esa celebración. Aproveché de tomarle fotos a mi hijo cuando no había nadie haciendo fila.
Luego se tomaron las respectivas fotos grupales, incluyendo una con la profesora, la directora y la madrina de promoción (que no sabía que existía jajaja)
Luckily all the children managed to buy it in one way or another and so they were all evenly matched that day.

Then the principal gave some words of encouragement and congratulations to the children. She was their 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade teacher, so she had a special relationship with them.

Hicimos salir a los chicos del salón para organizar las mesas con la comida. Se les sirvió unas hamburguesas cortesía de la madrina de promoción, refrescos y unos dulces.

Algo muy curioso que pasó ese día es que habían llevado la torta para celebrar el cumpleaños de uno de los niños. Yo pensaba que era porque cumplía en la época de vacaciones como mi hijo pero no, resultó ser que cumple en diciembre.
Según lo que entendí era porque no iban a poder reunir a todos sus compañeros para la celebración y aprovecharon el momento. Me pareció algo loco, pero bueno hay que aceptar las costumbres de cada quien.

Todos los niños del colegio hicieron formación en donde suelen hacer el acto cívico e hicieron un conteo regresivo para lo que sería el último timbre.
Para la desgracia de todos ese día nos habíamos quedado sin electricidad desde las 7 de la mañana, por lo que no hubo un último timbre.
A pesar de esto los niños gritaron, se abrazaron y disfrutaron el momento.
All the children of the school formed up where they usually do the civic act and counted down to what would be the last bell.
To everyone's misfortune that day we had been without electricity since 7 am, so there was no last bell.
Despite this the children screamed, hugged each other and enjoyed the moment.
Se tomaron unas fotos afuera del colegio y se despidieron. Es el final de una gran etapa en la que mi hijo logró salir súper bien.
Estoy muy orgullosa de él por este gran logro y feliz por haber estado acompañándolo en todo momento. ♥
They took some pictures outside the school and said goodbye. It is the end of a great stage in which my son did very well.
I am very proud of him for this great achievement and happy to have been with him at all times. ♥
