Hola mi gente, mis queridos amigos, mis queridos lectores, sean todos bienvenidos a mi blog.
Hace tres días, me enteré de esta nueva iniciativa de la comunidad @ocd, pero no es hasta hoy que puedo compartir mi publicación, porque estuve todos estos días sin conexión a Internet. Afortunadamente, llegué a tiempo!
En esta oportunidad, nos hacen tres preguntas, para que contestemos esa con la que nos sintamos más identificados. Yo me sentí de inmediato identificada con la primera pregunta: ¿Cuál es tu género favorito y por qué? Cita ejemplos específicos de películas que más te han gustado en ese género en particular.
Después de agradecer a la comunidad @ocd por todo el apoyo que brinda a las comunidades y usuarios, quiero invitar a mis amigas @zhanavic69, @carolinacardoza, @sacra97, @antoniarhuiz, @lisfabian y a @marybellrg para que se unan a este concurso. Ahora si, entremos de lleno en el tema. Les contaré cuál y por qué, la película que he elegido, es una de mis favoritas.
Una de las películas que más me ha gustado de todas las que he visto y a pesar de ser animada, pero deja un mensaje hermoso, es sin duda Coco, de Disney Pixar.

Three days ago, I learned about this new initiative of the @ocd community, but it is only today that I can share my post, because I was all these days without internet connection. Fortunately, I arrived on time!
In this opportunity, we are asked three questions, so that we can answer the one with which we feel most identified. I immediately identified with the first question: What is your favorite genre and why? Cite specific examples of movies that you have liked the most in that particular genre.

Now, let's get right into it. I will tell you which and why, the movie I have chosen, is one of my favorites.
One of the movies that I liked the most of all the ones I have seen and despite being animated, but leaves a beautiful message, is undoubtedly Coco, by Disney Pixar.
Tradiciones
En México tienen por tradición celebrar El Día de los Muertos. Esto lo hacen con una alegre fiesta, mucha comida, buena música y ropas de colores brillantes y alegres. Además tienen un altar donde reposan las fotografías de sus seres queridos fallecidos y ellos ese día en particular, los agasajan con muchas ofrendas, porque eso les asegura su permanencia en el mundo de los muertos, pues cuando ya les olvidan sus familiares en la Tierra, el alma comienza a desaparecer.
Traditions
In Mexico there is a tradition to celebrate the Day of the Dead. This is done with a joyful party, lots of food, good music and brightly colored clothes. They also have an altar where the photographs of their deceased loved ones rest, and on this particular day, they honor them with many offerings, because that assures their permanence in the world of the dead, because when they are forgotten by their relatives on Earth, the soul begins to disappear.
¿De qué se trata esta película? 
La historia gira en torno a Miguel, un niño mexicano que sueña con convertirse en cantante, pero no cuenta con el apoyo de su familia, porque su tatarabuelo, que era músico, abandonó a Mamá Imelda, su tatarabuela, dejándola sola con su hija, la pequeña Coco, quien hoy ya es una anciana, porque estaba sediento de fama.
What is this film about?
The story revolves around Miguel, a Mexican boy who dreams of becoming a singer, but does not have the support of his family, because his great-great-grandfather, who was a musician, abandoned Mamá Imelda, his great-great-grandmother, leaving her alone with her daughter, little Coco, who is now an old lady, because he was thirsty for fame.

Miguel es fan número uno de Ernesto de La Cruz, un cantante ya fallecido, que alcanzó la fama con la canción "Recuérdame" y a escondidas de su familia, canta todas las canciones de Ernesto.
Dante, un perrito que siempre está detrás de Miguel, mientras él arregla el altar para el día de los muertos, tumba el portarretrato que está en el altar con la foto de Mamá Imelda y Coco, quienes están acompañadas del tatarabuelo músico, cuyo rostro ha sido arrancado.
Miguel recoge con rapidez el retrato del piso y se da cuenta que la foto está doblada y al abrirla, descubre que su tatarabuelo tenía la misma guitarra de Ernesto de la Cruz, por lo que de inmediato piensa, que es tataranieto del famoso cantante.

Hey, before we go any further, be warned that this review contains spoilers!
Miguel is the number one fan of Ernesto de La Cruz, a late singer who rose to fame with the song " Remember Me" and secretly sings all of Ernesto's songs.
Dante, a little dog who is always behind Miguel, while he arranges the altar for the Day of the Dead, knocks down the picture frame that is on the altar with the photo of Mamá Imelda and Coco, who are accompanied by the musician's great-great-grandfather, whose face has been torn off.
Miguel quickly picks up the portrait from the floor and realizes that the photo is folded and when he opens it, he discovers that his great-great-grandfather had the same guitar as Ernesto de la Cruz, so he immediately thinks that he is the great-great-grandson of the famous singer.
Cuando Miguel descubre esto, se llena de valor y desafía a su familia porque quiere ser cantante como su tatarabuelo, pero su abuela furiosa, destruye su guitarra. Llorando, Miguel corre hasta el mausoleo de Ernesto de la Cruz y roba la guitarra del fallecido cantante, decidido a como de lugar, a cantar.
Pero al tocar la guitarra, una especie de magia, lo lleva al mundo de los muertos.
Ya en el mundo de los muertos, Miguel comienza a buscar a Ernesto de La Cruz, a quien todo el mundo venera y admira, pero que a la vez es difícil de ubicar.
Cuando se consigue con sus familiares muertos, su abuela Imelda le exige que se regrese al mundo de los vivos y le dice que se olvide de la música, a lo que Miguel responde huyendo, en busca de Ernesto, porque piensa que él sí lo entenderá.
Poco después conoce a Héctor, un muerto que está siendo olvidado por sus familiares vivos y hacen un trato: Héctor llevará a Miguel hasta Ernesto, a cambio de que cuando regrese al mundo de los vivos, colocará su foto en el altar, para no ser olvidado.

When Miguel discovers this, he takes courage and defies his family because he wants to be a singer like his great-great-grandfather, but his furious grandmother destroys his guitar. Crying, Miguel runs to Ernesto de la Cruz's mausoleum and steals the late singer's guitar, determined to sing no matter what.
But as he plays the guitar, a kind of magic takes him to the world of the dead.
Once in the world of the dead, Miguel begins to search for Ernesto de la Cruz, whom everyone venerates and admires, but at the same time is difficult to locate.
When he is reunited with his dead relatives, his grandmother Imelda demands that he return to the world of the living and tells him to forget about music, to which Miguel responds by running away in search of Ernesto, because he thinks he will understand.
Soon after he meets Hector, a dead man who is being forgotten by his living relatives and they make a deal: Hector will take Miguel to Ernesto, in exchange for when he returns to the world of the living, he will place his picture on the altar, so he will not be forgotten.
Ambos se enfrascan en la búsqueda de Ernesto y Miguel escondiéndose de su familia que lo está buscando. Pero Héctor y Miguel de pronto discuten y Miguel decide continuar solo.
Cuando finalmente encuentra a Ernesto, se siente increíblemente feliz y Ernesto muy orgulloso de presentar al mundo de los muertos, un tataranieto que desconocía su existencia.
Pero le dice al niño que debe regresar al mundo de los vivos porque aún no es su momento y cuando le va a otorgar su bendición para volver, aparece Héctor y comienza a discutir con Ernesto, exigiéndole que cumpla su promesa y se descubre que Ernesto de La Cruz había asesinado a Héctor, envenenándolo para quedarse con todas sus canciones, robándole la fama.
Both are engaged in the search for Ernesto and Miguel hiding from his family who is looking for him. But Hector and Miguel suddenly argue and Miguel decides to go on alone.
When he finally finds Ernesto, he is incredibly happy and Ernesto is very proud to present to the world of the dead, a great-great-grandson who was unaware of his existence.
But he tells the boy that he must return to the world of the living because it is not yet his time and when he is about to give him his blessing to return, Hector appears and begins to argue with Ernesto, demanding him to keep his promise and it is discovered that Ernesto de La Cruz had murdered Hector, poisoning him to keep all his songs, stealing his fame.
Asustado por su reputación, Ernesto arroja a Miguel y a Héctor al fondo de un pozo del que es imposible salir.
Allí, muy cansado, Héctor le cuenta a Miguel que tenía una hija llamada Coco, a la que compuso el tema "Recuérdame", pero que cuando intentó volver con su familia, Ernesto lo envenenó. Así es como Miguel se entera de que su abuelo tatarabuelo es Héctor y no Ernesto.
Pronto, un alebrije guiado por mamá Imelda, los rescata de ese pozo y aunque ella no lo perdona por haberla abandonado, decide ayudarlo a recuperar la foto.
Pero al final, no logran recuperar la foto y mamá Imelda, al ver la pasión de Miguel por defender sus sueños, le otorga su bendición, para que pueda regresar al mundo de los vivos.
El problema es que Héctor está comenzando a desaparecer, pues su hija Coco ya está perdiendo la memoria por los años.
Al volver al mundo de los vivos, Miguel corre al cuarto de Mamá Coco para cantarle "Recuérdame", a pesar de los regaños de sus familiares. El niño se encierra con la viejita y le comienza a hablar, pero ella en medio de su senilidad, ni siquiera parece escuchar. Solo cuando coge la guitarra y comienza a cantar, ella repentinamente regresó de ese laberinto mental en el que estaba y hasta canta con Miguel la canción.

Frightened by his reputation, Ernesto throws Miguel and Hector to the bottom of a well from which it is impossible to get out.
There, very tired, Hector tells Miguel that he had a daughter named Coco, to whom he composed the song " Remember me", but when he tried to return to his family, Ernesto poisoned him. This is how Miguel learns that his great-great-grandfather is Hector and not Ernesto.
Soon, an alebrije guided by mom Imelda, rescues them from that well and although she does not forgive him for having abandoned her, she decides to help him recover the photo.
But in the end, they do not manage to recover the photo and Mama Imelda, seeing Miguel's passion for defending his dreams, gives him her blessing so that he can return to the world of the living.
The problem is that Hector is beginning to disappear, as his daughter Coco is already losing her memory due to the years.
Upon returning to the world of the living, Miguel runs to Mama Coco's room to sing "Remember Me" to her, despite the scolding of his relatives. The boy locks himself in with the old lady and begins to talk to her, but she, in her senility, doesn't even seem to listen. Only when he picks up the guitar and starts singing, she suddenly comes back from the mental labyrinth she was in and even sings the song with Miguel.
Razones por las que he escogido esta película como mi favorita
Coco es una película que habla sobre la importancia de la familia, de los lazos familiares, de la unión, la solidaridad y el amor. En varios pasajes de la película, destacan las frases:
"La Familia es lo primero".
"No olvides lo mucho que tu familia te ama".
“Nada es más importante que la familia”
También habla de la importancia de mantener vivos a nuestros ancestros en nuestros corazones.
Por otro lado, nos habla de determinación, esa misma que demostró Miguel ante su incansable lucha por conseguir su sueño de ser músico y al final, recibió el apoyo que necesitaba de sus familiares.
Con esta película, lloré, reí, me desesperé y al final me quedó una sensación tan bonita en mis entrañas, porque esa mamá Coco, nos recuerda a nuestra mamá / abuela fallecida. Puedo decir que nunca me canso de ver esta película. Cada vez descubro otro detalle entre los muchos que tiene, que jamás se torna aburrida para mí.
Reasons why I have chosen this film as my favorite
Coco is a movie that talks about the importance of family, family ties, union, solidarity and love. In several passages of the movie, the phrases stand out:
"Family comes first".
"Don't forget how much your family loves you".
"Nothing is more important than family."
It also speaks of the importance of keeping our ancestors alive in our hearts.
On the other hand, it speaks of determination, the same determination that Miguel showed in his tireless struggle to achieve his dream of becoming a musician, and in the end, he received the support he needed from his family.
With this movie, I cried, I laughed, I despaired and in the end I was left with such a nice feeling in my gut, because that mom Coco, reminds us of our mom/grandmother who passed away. I can say that I never get tired of watching this movie. Every time I discover another detail among the many it has, it never gets boring for me.
Una prueba de lo mucho que me gusta esta película, es que mi sobrina, cuando se enteró de mi apego por esta película, me envió desde España, estas figuras de los protagonistas. (Falta Mamá Coco, extrañamente, no venía en el paquete). Los tenía en mi tocador, pero a veces a mi hijo le gusta jugar con ellos.
A proof of how much I like this movie, is that my niece, when she found out about my attachment to this movie, sent me from Spain, these figures of the main characters. (Mama Coco is missing, strangely, she didn't come in the package). I had them in my dresser, but sometimes my son likes to play with them.

Creo que muchos hemos llorado con esa película, sobre todo cuando mamá Coco, al final reacciona ante la canción que le canta Miguel. Yo ayer estaba eligiendo el vídeo que compartiría aquí y al verlo, nuevamente se me salieron las lágrimas.
