WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.20 PM 2.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.12 PM 1.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.14 PM.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.12 PM 2.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.15 PM 1.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.11 PM 1.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.15 PM.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.12 PM.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.13 PM 1.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.11 PM.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.13 PM.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.20 PM.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.19 PM 2.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.17 PM.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.24.54 PM.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.17 PM 1.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.18 PM.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210205 at 2.38.12 PM.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.20 PM 1.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.13 PM 2.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.18 PM 2.jpeg

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.17 PM 2.jpeg

Challenge ""What is it like to live in Hyperinflation""Living in hyperinflation.
Hello friends, after thinking about it for a few days I have decided to talk to you a little bit about such a sensitive subject for all Venezuelans, and I will talk to you from my experience.

WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.20 PM 2.jpeg

I still have the most beautiful memories of my childhood where there was abundance, and the worries of my parents were others...

So many years will be described by images that I have taken only today, this will define for you how hyperinflation is perceived in my country....

I will quickly describe it to you:
Living in hyperinflation is not having gas to prepare your food.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.12 PM 1.jpeg

It is going out to get firewood at least 3 times a week.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.14 PM.jpeg

It is to use the electric stove as a second option.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.12 PM 2.jpeg
It means going out to look for natural fuel to light the stove, since diesel is not available either.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.15 PM 1.jpeg
It is to constantly have an empty fridge, and buy only the food of the day.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.11 PM 1.jpeg
It is to appreciate the absence of public transportation, and not knowing how to get around because not even they have a regular supply of gasoline.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.15 PM.jpeg

It is not having the necessary sustenance to save, and the income you get goes away with only buying a few items.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.12 PM.jpeg
It is to reinforce the alternatives necessary to survive, starting with the creation of vegetable gardens.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.13 PM 1.jpeg

It is to think that the minimum wage is only 2 dollars that is not even enough for a carton of eggs.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.11 PM.jpeg

It is having to create your own business to try to fill some economic gaps.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.13 PM.jpeg
It is not getting tired of fighting for your family and the ones you love.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.20 PM.jpeg

It is to understand that all this is the product of a terrible management of the country.

It is to understand that we must never conform and accept to live in these extreme conditions.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.19 PM 2.jpeg
It is to understand that you must stay strong, because if you get sick you can die for lack of medicines and treatments in the hospitals.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.17 PM.jpeg
It is to get up every day and do what you love with all your heart.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.24.54 PM.jpeg
I am a music teacher and even if I am in the worst situation I will never stop fighting for what is really worthwhile, the children and young people who cultivate their knowledge.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.17 PM 1.jpeg
I am a musician and I will never stop transmitting the beauty of my art and brighten moments to transmit joy in the midst of adversity.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.18 PM.jpeg
I am a FreeLancer and the internet is one more tool to continue despite adversity.
Even if all reality discourages us, let's never forget our traditions, since it is our best legacy.
WhatsApp Image 20210205 at 2.38.12 PM.jpeg

Even if there is no meritocracy in this system, I will always fight to do what I love, to fight for my family and the ones I love.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.20 PM 1.jpeg

Even if my stomach is empty, even if they don't support me, I always reinvent myself and in the face of adversity I have learned to move and look for solutions.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.13 PM 2.jpeg
This blow has made me appreciate and thank God that I have a roof over my head.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.18 PM 2.jpeg

I am thankful for having a beautiful family, that despite the distance, we are closer.

I am thankful that I am in good health.

This is my reality, but like me this story repeats and worsens for many Venezuelans.
WhatsApp Image 20210204 at 5.21.17 PM 2.jpeg

This has not made me stronger...this has made me stronger.
