RE: Is Brian Armstrong - CEO of Coinbase Deceitful About Decentralization?

If I understand correctly, you are suggesting a system where rewards distribution and governance is decided by majority rule rather than based on stakes.

I doubt it is even possible within DPOS system. But it can be an interesting experiment on layer 2, like tribe economies and governance.

I found a post that I wrote a year ago on the topic that addresses issues you mention.

Sorry for the delay in replying. i tend to procrastinate sometimes. For now, in this post there's a partial reply to you https://ecency.com/hive-111177/@atma.love/autobiography-of-a-jogi-diary. You can reply here or there, if you are still inspired to dive deeper. I intend to reply more promptly in future.

Here's something else to help bring some more clarity to #matrix8

Written by John Huckel @matrix-8 (designer of the system):

The Matrix-8 Solution is not the meritocracy of POW or the oligarchy of POS. But, it can still include either of both of those in some power-sharing construct. It's unique innovation is that it can also be solely a Direct Democracy. It is up to you how you wish to structure Governance. And as I see it, optimally it will eventually leave that decision up to the individual Participants themselves.
