LBI earning report is out. It's kind of crazy how LBI is worth 1.5 LEO per token if we calculate the underlying assets.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

A little late but good to see.

Yes it is amazing how that project grew is less than a year. We are in a good position, with more in the way.

It allows average users to leverage all that is taking place. Fun to watch.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Very cool article to finish off your weekend.

Check out the chart showing how diverse the DeFi space is starting to become.

Ethereum won't be king forever.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Competitors of Ethereum are growing in numbers and their numbers are growing. But I think ETH will remain the centerpiece of all the DeFi. Everything out there bridges to this chain.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I totally agree with you on this. It was through ethereum that the idea of Defi projects came up. So fat ethereum has been improved and it will always remain in the top two crypto

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It's what I like to see the mentality of my blockchain is better and can do everything needs to go out the window. Instead multipul blockchains working together and each being a little better at something is going to be the path forward.

Great point! I agree 100%

I like to see the "other" bar growing in size for that exact reason. There is room for many projects in this universe and as long as they are actually contributing to the crypto world, I say bring it!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Those are some nice charts. It looks like ETH was exploding upwards quite well but it's starting to lose out more of the pie to the lower fee chains.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Question.
Do you think in near future the birth and death records be archived on blockchains for public records? Or any form of public data being collected in such public archive type blockchain?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yes, I think that's the future and I really hope it becomes a reality soon.

I had to deal with a lot of that crap earlier this year and it was an enormous waste of time and money. If we had that stuff on the blockchain things would be a lot faster and cheaper

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I give it 10 years before that becomes reality. It's the perfect use of blockchain without cryptocurrency: vital records and statistics. The only thing more secure is etching the data onto a flat mountain wall.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

In future when blockchain will be fully adopted, people will surely want to utilize the future of blockchain in storing data and accessing it simultaneously

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yes I think so but I wonder if we will start seeing our addresses being stored as well. A bunch of company store a lot of our information and it might also make that more accessible for other people.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

REMINDER!!!

Get thyself some #CANDEIS while they are sweet. If not these digital dandies might go stale.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Thanks for the reminder. I collected my candies and diamonds.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

+30 Candies Today! ✌

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

40 candies secured

My jar imaged is still broken though. I wonder if it can no longer hold all that sweetness

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Maybe they are creating a bigger jar for us to hold all those candies.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Check and check. I keep crawling forward. I wish there was a way to auto-collect these things. It's not hard, but doing it manually means you see the number each day and it moooovveeesss sssooooo ssslllooowwwwllllyyy....

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I started collecting candies today. Hope to continue each day.

For those who follow Tesla, here is a very good video (about 10 minutes) breaking down why they can simply produce EVs for a lower cost than other automakers.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

They're shit. Australia is suing Tesla because their batteries keep blowing up and they can't deliver the output stated. I'd be surprised if Tesla remains valid in the next 10years.

Japan and Hydrogen will be the future (in Australia anyway)

It could but its relying on rebates. I don't think the current adminstration will give Tesla that big of a rebate.

Blockchain Gaming is booming in Asia!

Do you guys know what is Utrust? It is a digital payment blockchain platform that combines features of traditional online payment systems and blockchain technology in an attempt to offer the best solutions from both worlds.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Some new names over there. Looks interesting to me. I may have to check some of them.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Terra (Luna) isn't on that list yet not sure why it just jumped to 11th position. Although lots of new developments. I'd have a look at Pylon which has just gone across as mine. Trading at .20c it is a multiverse token. Unsure if it will gain traction but other Terra Tokens are trading at the $3 mark so might do well. I grabbed a small bag.

It is interesting to see how different things are penetrating different parts of the world.

I do believe blockchain gaming will be huge in the future all over.

Blockchain Gaming & DeFi has changed the game in 2021. Onwards and upwards from here.

Among the top ten trending coins is Shiba inu, a coin I see as a pump and dump coin because it lacks use cases that will promote it's growth in the digital world.
Ethereum to me will always trend because of it's use cases and the projects built under it's network

Shiba Inu is a shitcoin for sure. It's sad to see meme coins trending while projects like Hive are so underrated and underappreciated.

Facebook is down!

Bitcoin is up!

We are going to make it guys! ✌️😬

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That is a great thing. Hopefully Facebook is down forever.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Haha! I would love that. That way their current users would start looking for other options and may find HIVE then. 😋

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

@taskmaster4450
There was a suggestion about the post made here to be centered on some niche and it seems that I didn't get to read the final conclusion on it.
It will be good if the topics for this daily discussion here will be centered on some topics that are good for SEO

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

There is nothing that prevents anyone from posting whatever topics they want to discuss as a top line comment.

And yes it all helps out with SEO. Of course, that is something that we will have to figure out how to approach.

I am trying to think of a way to do this. Perhaps I have an idea.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I find the parallel internets that firstly exists in the real world and then secondly in China, extremely interesting.

Truly decentralised networks are going to be the most important developments of the next generation.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Its amazing that they can actually enforce this. How is this even possible in today's day and age? Perhaps there is still a large cohort of people that don't know how to utilise a VPN or able to circumvent restrictions.

Definitely not understanding VPNs would play a part.

Heck, I don't understand VPNs...

I mean I just happily accept that I can't gamble on sports online while in-play, because the government tells me it's dangerous.

I thank the party for all they do in looking out for me.

Praise Scomo!

Now imagine if we actually had the threat of being taken away during the night for not doing as I was told.

Yeah, no thanks.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Poker Stars was an epic game. $2 - $5 entry win a few hundred. This was my early and mid 20s.

Let's be Honest, the changes weren't to prevent online gambling as online gambling in Australia has surged through lock down. It was to control the market.

As my name states I'm in Melbourne's west we have the most pokies in the country enabling 24 hours of gambling all withing walking distance. We also suffer the largest loses in the nation.

As a disadvantaged community, we sure like to disadvantage ourselves even more through gambling.

Yea, I think that plays a bigger part than not knowing how to work with VPNs.

Fear is a powerful weapon.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

A lot of peeps in Hongkong use VPNs. But not so much in mainland china. They have somehow managed to block VPN services too. But there will always be ways to surpass the firewall. Folks need to learn how to use them.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Tesla's internet in the sky (satellites) will be an easy way around censorship. A wireless connection above the planet for people to connect to and completely dismiss their nation's own internet providers.

The game is changing

The Great Wall of China.

Then there is the Great Firewall of China.

The Chinese government is smoking some high-grade stuff because they are always on another level.

Well...what charting software do they use in place of Trading View? I think most of them tend to follow similar features so I would expect them to have the other charts available if they wanted it.

Contest Payouts Are Done:

@finguru 174 HBD 735.50 LEO
@trfrazini 87 HBD 367.75 LEO
@jfang003 52.2 HBD 220.65 LEO
@magnacarta 34.8 HBD 147.1 LEO

Congratulations to all the winners.

Not a bad chunk of change that was sent out.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Thanks for distributing the payouts, taskmaster4450le. Mine brought me to a whisker or two below 735 LEO (including liquid and staked). Most of the payout was was staked for LP. 10 LEO stayed liquid to join the 20 liquid LEO I had. After staking the remaining LEO, I delegated 40.659 LP to @meowcurator.

As for the HBD, half went to savings and half was coverted to HP; the conversion is in progress, so that will wake a while.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That extra HP should help with your resource credits!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It can't hurt! That was the idea.

The additional LEO to LP also boosted my max Leo Vote Value from 0.053 to 0.062; nice bonus there.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That is going to be something that people are going to learn about in the future.

Resource Credits are vital.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Since I am on LeoFinance, I prefer to curate myself because you get back a higher APR.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

You are making strides forward. This just goes to show that if one is active and consistent, things end up growing.

Now you have some more resources to utilize and start generating a return for you.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Thank you. I've proven to myself I can be active as a commenter just below where you, @tfranzini, @finguru, and @jfang003 are.

What I need to do is up my posting freqency. "@"finguru gave me some good tips, and I can follow the path he laid out.

The spreadsheet projects I have featuring content from Hive Engine will help me do that as well. I'll also publish posts which can be used as resources such as lists of news sources for both FUDslides and 100% FUD-free news.

After I get my RCs near 85% this month I return to @crypto-guides and contribute content.

If I do these things, I expect to double my HP by EOY.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Definitely! You are a true keyboard warrior

I also need to increase my posting frequency. I have a project in the making that hopefully will help with that but finguru is certainly an example to follow. And taskmaster too, ofc, but he plays in a whole different league LOL

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The numbers are down and it is completely your fault. LOL

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I'm essentially out of commission, which is why my comments are sporadic. Later this week I'll be back to full strength (just not 100-comment days).

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Sweet. I look forward to reading the posts from your project.

@taskmaster4450le set the standard to which we should aim. If we exceed that standard, everything else will take care of itself. If we fall short by a bit, we're still on the right path. Either way, we win.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Keep it up. Getting active will pay off for you in the long run. This was just one piece in the puzzle for you.

The tokens can help you to establish a foundation to build upon.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I've spent so much time at the live blog I've neglected reading other posts to engage with their authors and other commenters at those posts. I need to round out my engagement activities and outreach efforts.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Thank you task! I'm going to put those tokens to WORK!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Dont thank me. You earned it.

Great job.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Congratulations to all winners!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Thank you, @esmeesmith. Thank you also for your questions and comments as well. I hope you were able to get the answers you were looking for, and I hope we gave you useful answers.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Congratulations to all the winners well done

Thank you, @melbourneswest. Thank you for your comments as well. It's great replying to everyone!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Such a handsome amount, definitely not bad at all Task. Totally worth my time & effort. Thanks a ton.

Those LEOs are powered up, taking my LP to 3.3k ✌

Congratulations once again everyone!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Congratulations on your haul. You did some serious posting during the month which helped to set you apart from the average. Great job.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Thanks Task. Tried my best. Being on LMT really helped me getting the ideas flowing.✌️ Sept was the best month for me so far!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

CHA CHING!

Now, who truly beleives in LeoFinance enough to double down by swapping all that HBD to LEO?

Fing's HBD is worth around 750 LEO at current prices ;)

Come on lads, you know you want to.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Hmm that's actually a great idea.

I'm also trying to stock up on Hive because of SPK Network so I'm not sure what to do. Maybe go 50/50

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

CHA CHING!

That sound. 🤑

Now, who truly believes in LeoFinance enough to double down by swapping all that HBD to LEO?

Sorry, Dane. My belief in Leo Finance is unwavering but I already have some plans for that HBD. Half of it goes to Cub Finance and the other half will help me buy some LAND.

I think I have powered up more than enough LEO this month because I smashed my goal and even surpassed it. But I think there's no such thing as "enough" 😂 It will never be enough.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Boo.

@trfrazini, @jfang003 and @magnacarta, can I shame any of you into swapping your HBD to LEO and staking?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Hahaha I might swap at least half of it for LEO! I really want that HIVE but it's hard to pass on LEO at these prices. Quite a steal

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

😂😂😂😂 I hope they give in.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I saw these comments after I staked the LEO and moved HBD around, so it's too late for me.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I don't mind swapping a portion of it into LEO and staking it. I'll figure it out Tuesday or Wednesday when I get more time. The LEO portion I get will probably be saved for my CubFinance monthly add though.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Hey, make sure you buy PLOT and not LAND. Pretty sure LAND is a scam....

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

LOL. It may be true, but it still sounds funny.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yes. PLOT it is. No Land. Thanks for the heads-up Dagger. ✌️

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

woohhh those are HUGE payouts congrats to the winners!

Thank you! I had no idea how things were going to turn out at first. It was a wild ride.

Thank you for your contributions to helping @leomarkettalk reach 10,000 comments in September. It was a team effort.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Congratulations buddy.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It truly was. There were a lot of people involved.

This was a great trial to see the potential. We will need to amend some things going forward. Let us see if we cannot come up with something more exciting going forward.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

If there is going to be another month-long contest, then in addition to the final prizes at the end of the month there can be weekly prizes and/or daily prizes. Weekly prizes would be of a lesser magnitude than the final prizes, and daily prizes would be of a lesser magnitude than weekly prizes. I suggest these options based on Super Bowl office pools which award prizes for each quarter as well as for the final score.

As for the prizes themselves, the usual choices would be LEO, HIVE, HBD, and delegations of HP or LP. It will be a while before those prizes reach the levels awarded the other day, so it may be necessary to be creative with the prizes:

  • Gaming NFTs;
  • Non-Gaming NFTs;
  • Any of the 17+ Splinterlands tokens which make sense as a prize;
  • Airdrops of some in-demand token;
  • A starter investment in Cub Fiannce;
  • BTC, ETH, RUNE, etc. equivalent to what the HIVE prizes would have been.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I am thinking of something difference that is going to couple number of comments along with the quality/length of comments.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That's another approach for the contest. Short comments can't be avoided, and sometimes they're even expected or wanted. Still, short comments should be made sparingly and when they make sense. Perhaps your suggestion will help in that.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Thanks a lot, @bitcoinflood. Cheers! ✌

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Thanks. I wasn't expecting it to be so huge and congratulations to everyone else who won.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Congratulations to all the winners. Awesome sauce.

Hey Guys, does anyone like Coffee? I am a cold brew fan! I didn't even know Brazil was the top coffee producer in the whole world.

I love coffee

Yea, we're famous for our coffee! Even the great Ol' Blue Eyes sang about it hehe

They've got a zillion tons of coffee in Brazil

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Cold brew? I'm a traditionalist, must come from my mums side who was born in Italy. I wake up with about 5 espressos and then once lunch hits I'm onto the cappuccinos. I cringe when my wife orders a "late"

5 espressos! I thought I drank too much coffee but you've got me beat!

Singapore has the fastest fixed broadband internet speed. UAE has the fastest mobile broadband internet speed.

image.png

image.png

Source: https://www.visualcapitalist.com/mapped-the-fastest-and-slowest-internet-speeds-in-the-world/

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Hahaha our mobile data speeds are faster than landbased connections. Although I'm laughing at that it is probably the best option for Australia given our largely vacant and dispersed population.

We've focused on direct connection for too long and should have been investing in wireless tech long ago.

Also important to note that mobile reception unless with Telstra is shocking outside the cities. I often experience significant black spots. 1km down the road and I have 0 Internet on mobile.

I am surprised with that. I used to think US and Canada has it better than us.

When it comes to broadband speeds and mobile speeds, the rest of the world has USA beat. I'm guessing part of that is the combination of the size of the country and the regulatory environment controlling it at local, state,a nd federal levels. The physically smaller nations are more nimble at establishing infrastructure.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The internet companies don't want to increase the speed too much since they want to earn money off the consumer.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It's sad to see the US so far down. Those cable companies need to get a hint and improve the speeds at a lower cost.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Well he is a Bitcoin maximalist after all. And he did sell a ton of Tesla stock to buy Bitcoin.

Do you agree with him?

I believe that Bitcoin will replace gold eventually. If we are at that point yet, I am not sure. I think the proclamation is a bit early.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I think it's a bit too early but the younger generations might just prefer BTC since they can just keep it in their phone.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The Millennials certainly are in favor of Bitcoin by an overwhelming margin. Gold bugs tend to be Boomers and they are starting to leave this world.

Tax evasion from the top end of town. Royal families, billionaires, pop stars and the like. One of the biggest leaks this side of 2000s.

While crypto is constantly a target for illegal crime transparent and open transactions will actually make it hard that fiat systems to hide money from the tax man.

We get stung tax while these peeps operate on another planet. Frustrates me to the core.

https://www.smh.com.au/business/banking-and-finance/secrets-of-the-rich-and-famous-ato-to-review-pandora-papers-leak-20211004-p58wxw.html

Yes nobody watches how much money is burned in the parties of the rich. Is that taxed money or tax evaded. But they seem to be finding crypto a threat only because crypto has potential to bypass the gatekeeper that chooses who can be rich in the system.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I believe it's more like evaded since they are just taking advantages of loopholes. They also have the best accountants and lawyers to fight for them.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It's not tax evasion if the law allows it. That's true all over, although we tend to forget that.

It's almost like George Costanza saying "It's not a lie if you believe it" when asked about how to pass a lie detector test. In this case, it's 100% true.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Hahaha that's funny, I love that quote.

Yea but the laws and regulations are directly influenced by the rich. The middle class and lower class lose out most of the time.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Absolutely. The rich can afford the lawyers and professional lobyists who can meet with legislators to craft legislation which eventually gets signed into law. The rich also form a core part of the investor class, and you know what Elon Musk has to say about poor people, middle-class people, and rich people.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I am not surprised. After I learned about how charities can be used to evade taxes, I also gained a dislike for charities since I can't tell which ones are real and which ones aren't.

How to get to Silver League?. Here is a Splinterlands post for anyone who joined the game recently. Most of the information is relevant but I think people can still reach Silver mid season even if they have level 1 summoners. This is more in regards to the recent rewards chest changes.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yea, I agree. I didn't have much trouble getting to Silver III last season but once I was there, I found it hard to progress so I guess that's my next step.

All of this is going to equate to massive abundance for those involved. Keep active and consistent. That is what is important.
