I am quite active on Threads (not among the top ten, but say top 100 for sure), so perhaps my case could serve as a feedback regarding the communication strategy.
If I were in a position of someone promoting/spreading the word about a project, I'd go for a tool that allows me as much different tools and means of communication as possible. Threads are very straightforward, quite limiting, and you cannot even send private DM's here.
To make a long story short, I completely understand the question why don't you use Discord as a tool that allows users to do more than Threads.
Yeah, Discord is ok for those 1 on 1 chats but if I need to talk about a specific subject to a wider audience, I most definitely prefer Inleo (if it works at that time)
The language barrier really makes things a little difficult, when I need to write in English, I use Google Translate a lot, this increases the steps in the process, it becomes more laborious, but it is the solution we have for threads.
I'm Brazilian haha, venturing into the hive for some time. The Brazilian community is still small here, but we continue trying to bring more people here to stay and be active. It's a big challenge.

Bitcoin is perhaps one of a kind asset which is different from classes "risk appetite" and "risk aversion".

How can easing take place when an asset that can be collateralized (bonds or MBS) be swapped for one that cannnot (central bank reserves)?
The reverse is true. If the securities are swapped for bank reserves and put on the market, that adds liquidity.
Like most things, central bank actions are not what people think. The entity doesnt do money.

Bitcoin Runes Will Launch Along with $BTC Halving
Runes bring fungible tokens to BTC and I expect these to be taken over by meme coins and other projects that are mostly without strong fundamentals.

I feel like people and projects have this strange built-in desire to constantly try to move back toward web2... it's like a forbidden fruit or something.
Maybe one day in #splinterlands you earn nothing and nothing is worth anything. 😅
As I was asked yesterday why I don't use Discord to talk about BBH. My answer was, that is what Threads is for.
I see several huge points in using something like Discord for that - private messages, group messages, voice and even videocalls, various channels and user roles... Threads cannot match yet.
Then we should push to have those things on Web 3. Or find ways to do it with Web 3. But at this point in time I do know what you are saying.
I know basically nothing about BBH anyways, so I can't really suggest anything. I've noticed it exists, and that's all.
I am quite active on Threads (not among the top ten, but say top 100 for sure), so perhaps my case could serve as a feedback regarding the communication strategy.

If I were in a position of someone promoting/spreading the word about a project, I'd go for a tool that allows me as much different tools and means of communication as possible. Threads are very straightforward, quite limiting, and you cannot even send private DM's here.
To make a long story short, I completely understand the question why don't you use Discord as a tool that allows users to do more than Threads.
Maybe I will, I do have a discord channel for BBH, I set it up a couple years ago.

And yes, there are web3 tools that could substitute certain web2 solutions. Both Peakd and Ecency offer free encrypted DMs for instance.

Yeah, Discord is ok for those 1 on 1 chats but if I need to talk about a specific subject to a wider audience, I most definitely prefer Inleo (if it works at that time)

Need another way to engage on Threads. I used google translate to converse with @shiftrox in his native language.
The language barrier really makes things a little difficult, when I need to write in English, I use Google Translate a lot, this increases the steps in the process, it becomes more laborious, but it is the solution we have for threads.
Until today I did not know English was not your native language
I'm Brazilian haha, venturing into the hive for some time. The Brazilian community is still small here, but we continue trying to bring more people here to stay and be active. It's a big challenge.

Try doing the test so you can see, unfortunately here in the threads, the command doesn't work, I think it doesn't recognize the text field or something like that, but in X for example it speeds up a lot because it works there
Another way that could speed things up is to use the "DeepL Translator" extension, where you can write your text and with a shortcut combination defined on the keyboard the text is automatically translated into the configured language.

Até o momento, não. A Hive ainda é pouco conhecida no Brasil. Porém, existe uma cidade que é a maior em adoção de Bitcoin no Brasil e no mundo, chamada Rolante. Se levarmos a proposta do HBD para lá, talvez aceitem.
