Wanted to do a quick update on the last week. Things I have been working on have been crystalizing a bit and hopefully Ill have more than a few big things to announce in the coming days. My goal with my contribution was to augment what others were doing and add on top of that with a number of my own ideas.
- Currently there are 3 #Hive review videos commissioned. I agreed on 10-15 min videos with a few 10k-80k sub crypto youtubers.
@logic has come onboard and is helping me in finding these targets using an influencer browser. He has helped me reduce my workload so I can focus on other things. We need more people like him willing to step up and do some CONCRETE work!

ETA: 2-3 days. Heres a little teaser. I really wanted to make the website modern and appealing. I feel this is an improvement but it will be on the community to decide if they like the new look.
Ill be presenting the redesign first to a smaller group of people and adding some more cosmetic changes, after that, the site will be presented onchain and Ill have a vote to see how many people prefer the new design over the old one. Since the goal of the landing page is to introduce Hive to new users that are not yet investors, Ill be looking for general feedback. (not stake based)
There will be inquiries on what text should be added and changed as well, afterwards.
- On 29.9. we will be launching the Brave ads. (if nothing changes). Ive arranged everything, the ad landing page has been shared in the last update and the landing page will be hosted on https://join.hive.blue/ which is one of @guiltyparties sites.
I will also have a call in the near future with the BAT team and we will discuss a potential partnership for Hive. I cannot promise anything there but since Splinterlands is already partnered with Brave browser, my hope is that arranging something is a possibility..

Travala is the world’s leading blockchain-based travel booking platform.
We will discuss a potential partnership. No promises, but Im hoping for a cross promotion between chains. Travala has a few other partners, Cardano being a good example.
I feel our communities can benefit from being introduced to each platform since Hive and Travala seem to be among the very few blockchain projects focused on real world solutions.
I want to be as transparent as I can with the community but unfortunately, I wont be able to update you on anything else until agreement is made, or is not. Even this is on the limit of good taste.

If that ever happens, it's 100% merit of lord btw. I haven't done shit in that sense...
And as far as I know, Travala won't list HIVE just like that, they'll ask for what I think it's an outrageous fee (+50K$) which IMHO isn't justified in any way and defo not worth for us.
I find it easier (and a much better way to put the funds of DHF to work) to build a bot that exchanges HIVE for AVA in the background (and benefits from the -3% discount when paying with AVA).

That's great. I also made a post and @raymondspeaks reached them earlier but they were demanding some big numbers. Let see how it goes. It would be a great use case for hive to be able to book flights and hotels.

But i think, simple offer them benefits hive has with some starting help could bring in a long run more.
Sure it need to start with someone and the outreach work is for sure needed. But we also need some
"Step to step guide - How to bring your business to hive" or something like that to show them the benefits.
Because at the end of the day, the benefits of hive will bring it forward :)

I think the option to partner with Brave is a very good idea, I would very much like if the Brave rewards could be processed as a token through the hive-engine page, it would be very practical if we wanted to invest in Hive and it would save us the work of transferring from the wallet, also in my country the wallet that Brave uses is not working due to the restrictions, hopefully, you can achieve something, congratulations ...
I’ll be starting my Hive/Twitter crossover meetups this month. It’s not a massive project but I hope to pull on a few dozen a month from language and culture tags. I’ll see if I can find any influencers in that field who might be interested too
I love this agenda and all the possibilities are too important, ideally they should all come to fruition. I hope soon to be able to see these ads in my favorite browser Brave and if an agreement between the BAT and HIVE is reached, it would be like going to the moon. The Travala option is very interesting, it would be very cool to be able to use our coins to pay in this site. Really very pleased with all this great work, I wish you much success.
