The Devils Advocate.... Part 1

in LeoFinance3 years ago

While I realize that playing the devils advocate in these parts - in the sea of crypto hopium - is likely to fall on deaf ears (or blind eyes), it doesn't change reality.
And while I realize this post may be as popular as someone else's farts in a sleeping bag - It STILL doesn't change reality.

Hopium addicts hate reality.

The (block) chain is only a strong as it's weakest link, as they say.
But what is 'the weakest link'?

As it stands today, it's the exchanges (or banks).
Unless you're buying directly with crpyto currency, you have to go through an exchange to convert to fiat.
(this is not an ideological post - this is a reality post).
Even if you can convert directly into the banks, it's totally beyond your control.
They can decide, at a moments notice - to stop that service.

The technocratic era has no interest in 'the peasants' having anything.
If fact, the peasants having wealth is the exact opposite of what the technocratic elite's want.

So, that being the case, why on earth do you think that they will want any free market cryptocurrencies?
Free markets are exactly what they don't want.

Do you really think - in the long term - that they'll allow you to use crypto outside of their system?

...'oh it can't be stopped', I hear the hopium addicts cry !

Wanna bet?...

The sheeple will adhere to any regulations that are put forth (otherwise they will become 'criminals').

The exchanges can be bought up/controlled by limitless fiat money, or through simply banning them via government regulation. (in conjunction with severe penalties for anyone that does open exchange facilities - penalties that are too severe for anyone to see the risk, for it to be ever worth the reward).

So what ya gonna do?...

All computer traffic can be monitored.
All data can be examined.
The technology ensures compliance.

Do you really think that the technocrats - now propelled into power in the US through fraud, (imo) want you to have any wealth?

Choking all the crypto that's not under the purview of centralized governments will be a breeze to people with this kind of power (power that the people have allowed them to take).

This doesn't mean there are not profits to me made (short term), but it certainly means that long term, independent crpyto currencies will simply not be allowed to exist. (not with a technocracy in place).

'THEY', SIMPLY WON'T ALLOW IT.

Acquiescence to the technocracy (liars, cheats, murderers) virtually guarantee's that you will be poor.

The recent US elections, and the solidifying of power given to the technocrats, will virtually guarantee that free market crypto currency, is choked to death.

On the one hand I agree

On the other i have hopium that I'll make shitloads of money first

And then use privacy coins from digital wallets outside the system

I think (hope) there are ways around this, but it's a bit scary that so few people address this elephant in the room...

Truth is, I use cash as much as possible, and nobody is interested in using crptos in the real world - try offering a taxi driver some monero!

....This doesn't mean there are not profits to me made (short term)...

My chat window had decided to stop opening again....

You need tech support!

I think you underestimate that there are different "them"s. We have China, Russia, USA and Europe. All of these four want to release something of a state cryptocurrency, so they are already competing with each other and against BTC. With Cryptocurrencies being the new hot shit for governments we could see a pressure on them to finally have a race to the bottom on their end.

I see it differently...All roads lead back to the banks, ultimately - the rest are just unwitting players on the stage.

Most people here don't want to hear this or think this way. I want cryptos to succeed but we all know sooner or later they will make it hurt too much to use or possess them.

I called it 'devils advocate' for a good reason! lol
(too much hopium makes being blind)
