Separately from auctions, the Bored Ape Yacht Club hit a new single-nft sales record this morning, as one Bored Ape sold for 600ETH, or around $2.25M, on the OpenSea NFT marketplace. The Bored Ape Yacht Club has quickly emerged as one of the most popular NFT projects in existence, with hundreds of millions of dollars in trade volumes generated by the Bored Ape Yacht Club over the past few weeks.

The biggest spike over the past 24 hours of the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) came with the sale of Bored Ape #5383 at the price of 777ETH, which is valued at about $1.45M as of the writing of this article. The notable increase occurred when Bored Ape #5383 was sold for 777 ETH, worth approximately $1.45 million at the time of this writing. It is perhaps the most famous set of non-fungible tokens, and certainly one that has the highest price floor. At the time this post was written, the floor price was at 72 ETH. The highest floor price is 72 ETH as of the time this article was written.

The overall traders for last day were up 125%, coming in at 27, while collections saw 16 transactions, a 100% increase over yesterday. Most notable was that the biggest sell was Bored Ape #5383. NFT Whale Vis.ETH Bored Ape Yacht Club The BAYC spent a golden plated Bored Ape for an impressive 777ETH last night ($1.5M), sending the average price for BAYCs collection soaring to a new 2 month high. Bored Ape creator Yuga Labs sold 10,000 nft of Bored Ape Yacht Club to new buyers, earning another $96 million in ETH during a single hour.

Just last year, the four 30-somethings behind the Bored Ape Yacht Club - a 10,000-nft set that houses cartoon primates and opens up the virtual worlds in which they live - were living modest lives, working day jobs while dabbling with side projects. Recently, they surprised collectors with a scavenger hunt; the winner received five Eth - more than $16,000 as of this writing - and one other ape. Last October, another rare Ape, #8585, sold for $2.7m, which was the equivalent of 696.969 ETH at the time.

Among the more expensive sales, Sothebys auctioned off Ape # 8817 in its Metaverse Marketplace in October last year for $3.4 million. The highest APE price from the lowest to highest of the cycle was $7.69 (the highest of the cycle). Amid a rout of NFT markets, one Bored Ape in gold sold for $1.5MTrading volumes of NFTs dropped substantially on all the main markets over the past few months.
