I'm not sure how long this has been the case, but tonight I saw this when I visited State of the Dapps' homepage:
Hive appears 2 times in that screen capture of the home page. Word is getting out.

Hive has a decent number of DAPPs in its ecosystem and if you compare the top ones with other equivalent DAPPs then we have better activity too.

If we go by State of the Dapps, Hive has 1% to 5% of the dApp count of Ethereum. It doesn't mean much beyond being a point of reference. What matters is that Hive has the kinds of dApps people want. What also matters is how easy it is for developers to create dApps for Hive from conception to official release; Hive has to make it worthwhile for developers to choose it over Ethereum or Cardano or Polkadot.

No. of DApps on Ethereum might be more but as you said Hive has more quality work and we provide a better user experience simply because of 3s feeless transactions.
I am 100% sure that bootstrapping cost is much less as compared to Ethereum. DPoS is so damn cost-effective and efficient.

What made Apple's iPhone a smashing success immediately in 2006 wasn't the actual phone; it was the App Store. Apple had the foresight to set up the App Store and load it up with apps by developers. For years there were commercials based on the theme "there's an app for that." Without the apps from the App Store, iPhone would have been like a BlackBerry device.
(For reference, Casino Royale (the 2006 James Bond movie starring Daniel Craig) was made and released in the pre-iPhone era.)
