My answer is pretty much the same as TaskMaster's with one slight change:

Financial Freedom = being able to pay all of one's bills without having to work [for someone else].

Without having to work for someone else makes sense . That is why I am a big fan of passive income , I want the money to work for itself and I want to be involved in charity or something similar in which my work is mainly for satisfaction and not for money .

I don't know but I know I am no where close right now. We can only keep on continuing to fill out bags so we might be there in the future

well, i can say the same for myself. however, my goal for this year to be financially stable at least. if things continue the way they have been for the past 2 months for the next 6-12months, i think I will achieve that.

Don't forget to stack some of your earnings since you still want to grow. I would say if you need money out then you should aim for 50% to grow and the other half for your own needs.

Financial Freedom = being able to pay all of one's bills without having to work.

Lol, I don't think I am anywhere close to that. But we keep building

Then you are not anywhere close to being free according to that definition.

However, if you were able to pay all your bills without working, would you be financially free then?

well, i think. personally, i think being financially free is being able to cater to my bills without stress. i don't want to stop working. well, it depends on what we take as work. i consider the time and effort put into creating content and engaging as work--one that I like and willing to commit to.

It says nothing about not working or stopping work.

Simply the ability to pay your bills without working. If you choose to work, and what on, is up to you.

To me, that is freedom.

Yeah, having clear vision to really do something fulfilling, something you believe in and adds value to your life instead of grinding for the need of a paycheck is what freedom is to me. I'm fortunate enough that the work I do is not about grinding (anymore) but I do a lot of physical work I might not be able to do until I'm 70+, so creating even more freedom is great.

I think that is the direction humanity is moving towards. The idea of grinding out 40, 50-, 60 hours just to pay your bills and for sustenance is insane.

Yet that is the history of humanity.

Is it still financial freedom is your doing what you wished for anyways? Not everything goes as we like but I would think that our hobbies (if it generates money) would not be considered work or not.

Someone said if you do what you love, you never work a day in your life.

So I guess your point holds true.

For me financial freedom is to be able to live a satisfactory life doing what I love to do without worrying about money .

Do we ever stop worrying about money? I am in the position I dreamt of some months back but that hasn't quenched my thirst for more. I still want to do more, earn more. There is just so much we are capable of when we move up our hierarchy of needs
