Why not design a very aggressive marketing, promotion and advertising campaign specifically addressed for the groups and collective of the current worldwide movement of the so called "lay flatters" and turn out the Hive blockchain into an instant flourishing success with so many excited new users coming here in hordes?
Who knows? Maybe if all the Hive shills who are now spreading the buzz out there on freedom, wealth, tokenomics, ownership, prosperity and such, start also to add in their tweets and everywhere else around on social media also the hashtag #lyingflat. Don't you think that we can become in the blink of an eye in the creators of the next Sanhe Talent Market worldwide? Well, I think this is quite feasible!
Ok, but now seriously.
Exactly sixteen days ago, I wrote a post about this serious issue that threatens to become the new normal around the globe. A growing number of millennials and many of our youth throughout the world are beginning to see clearly through the cracks of the pandemic the true reality of the job market everywhere.
As it is well known, a pandemic is often followed by another pandemic. With a whole diversity of mutations, transformations and hybrids of the original virus that affects everyone with new, interesting and unexpected symptoms that hit the whole society in general. We are currently witnessing the birth of a new mindset.
Introducing the "Lay Flatters"
With a prevailing sense of social and professional stagnation. And the drive toward self-reliance which lately has encountered a likely form of resistance within a generation of young Chinese against a deeply engrained culture of overwork without the promise of real advancement under the 996 lifestyle. They are opting now instead for joining to the “lying flat,” or "tangping" (躺平) movement to raise their voice before the world as a new virus to be aware of.
Meanwhile, some Chinese sociologists and educators are saying that the younger generations are more self-centered and more sensitive to pressure than their elders. That they instead of always following the 'virtues' of struggle, endure and sacrifice to bear the stresses, they currently prefer a temporary 'lying down' as catharsis and adjustment to their lives. "Lying flat is shameful. Only hard work brings happiness"
But having seen what we have seen with the forced furloughs and massive layoffs across the world in barely two years of pandemic. The economy slowing down everywhere. The advent of automation, robotics and A.I. technologies taking over the workplace by leaps and bounds faster than ever. ¿How they can trust?
Certainly their complaints against a notorious “996” culture with the idea and slogan that employees should work from 9am-9pm 6 days a week and without the right to payments for overtime and other trifles, may not sound very convincing. Right?
And that's why the "Lying Flatism" movement is spreading around the world as gunpowder on fire among the youth. The professional youth.

Then, would you say they are just being a bunch of lazy entitled snowflakes unwilling to do what their elders did back in the day? Or that at this point in the game they can already see clearly what many of us could not see because crapitalism still had many tools to hide us the real path to where we were going with their interested and egotistical established indoctrination thru the nefarious educational system and the culture of hard work serving only to the opulents until retirement without having never been educated about financial freedom, entrepreneurship, money management, investments and true ownership?

Then, why the hell you don't take advantage of the ocassion and tell us also SERIOUSLY whether or not my proposal can be a resounding success and totally feasible without much fuss and so much fruitless shilling through social networks? Tbh....i think being in the rat race kills faster than lying flat.
I would prefer to lay flat here on hive and gain financial freedom than running the rat race 996 culture.

There is no doubt that 'lying flat' while earning money (even if it's only pennies) within the Hive ecosystem, is gonna be much more appealing than going thru the daily grinding of running the rat race 996 culture with the nowadays non existent previous outcomes using the old-fashioned mindset of the previous generation.
It is a fact that this new generation of youngsters, born in the information and knowledge age is very aware that being better educated about financial freedom and independence, entrepreneurship, assertive money management, investments dexterity and the development of true ownership is key for their future.
So, do you concur with me that it is indeed highly feasible to attract millions of new users, 'gamers' and (small investors) to Hive in a jiffy just by using the hashtag #lyingflat everywhere on social media from now on? ;o)

I'm lying flat at the moment, but I don't think I'm earning any money yet. I'm between a rock and a hard place because of my age. If I were two decades younger, I'd go full-on "sole editor-video editing-professional-craftsman-artist" route. At the time, firstly, I looked good enough to still get a higher followership from that and secondly, I wouldn't have built up any resistance between myself and the new technology yet.
But all my life I have tended to cherry-pick, and I regularly and happily made exceptions for myself. I dislike following rules and bend them where I can and where it is not conspicuous or charming. Where I can't claim charm, I prefer to do without and avoid the issue.
Young people, of course, have eyes in their heads and know that they will (have to) do something with their lives for another forty or more years. We were no different then and were good citizens who calculated (if not always consciously) which strategy would be the most appropriate. You don't know a lot of things as a young person, but you do learn that it's always about one thing: getting by as best you can.
Otherwise, it's probably rather uncomfortable in the tension between lying flat and working your ass off. It's hard to live between boredom and cardiac arrhythmia. The diagonal can be derived from this, in which the person who tends to be bored learns how to get into step and how the permanently stressed person discovers slowness.
Unsure which category I belong to or whether it can even be said that way. LOL
You seem to get along also pretty good. Any reasons you can give?

Kind and sort of doing that from 2018 and on .
I only work when i have to and live a minimalist life .
My gaming years where when i had a 40 hour a week job .
Witch still gave me a minimalist life one month away from bankrupt .
At least now i decide my own minimalist state , far from banks and government .
But yes , #lyingflat ,might ad some people to the Hive ... ;-)
Haha, now imagine how minimalistic 'they' want us to go with a 72 hours a week job, minimum if not more, under a 9-9-6 regime until we become totally disposable when 'they' finally succeed in to automate everything.
